I just taught my neighbor how to skate with these! It is so much fun to have people to skate with!
That’s amazing!! You progress so much faster with friends, it’s also just more fun 😆
Teaching people how to freeskate never gets old! 🙌
This was fun to see - I hope some of these people decided to take up the sport! It would be so fun to learn with a friend!😊
Love to see it. Also, is that obstacle cone STL available anywhere? A couple coworkers and I freeskate, we be cool to set them up outside the office some days!
You guys should post a lot more. Just seeing you guys ride and talk tips and tricks is a nice vibe as well as learning material. I just got a pair for me and my girlfriend and we are really loving them. Would love to see more content and for you guys to do more reviews for newer skaters.
That's awesome! We post daily on our other social media, more coming here Saturday!
@@jmkride Oh that's great I followed you guys everywhere so I'm hoping to keep active and more importantly stay motivated to get better.
Fun to practice, at least try, together, even if it's strangers.😊 Making new friends maybe.
Me and my lady are on day 2 lol super fun
Keep knees bent is the best advice tho
some real go-getters out there! i think we may have seen the origin story of a few future skaters!
The question I always get excited to hear when I'm freeskating is, "Can I try those out?".
I wish, I would had such great support on my 1st day using JMK free skates... before I landed on my tailbone... Also I would really recommend for all adult starters to wear helmet... :)
Aye. I'd say the full protective gear for newbies. I've fallen on each knee and braced with my wrists once or twice.
Definitely recommend pads. Another key is to always step off once you begin to lose balance. Falls can happen when trying to stay on too long when losing balance. Just step off
I hope jmk would feature a physio doctor who can share exercise@ that will help freeskater improve for the physical demands of this sport(stretching and routines).
I bought i pair of free skates but i dont remember in how many days they will come to my house can you tell me? Btw i live in greece
It’s weird. You look like these people for a week. Then like magic your cruising. And never forget.
I understand the problem when they push off they are still on the position of pushing and dont make there feet to go to up thats the begginer problem im still ten so if my writing is bad it is what it izz
I think the best way to teach people is with a ripstick first
New a kid 15 years ago that could rip well over 20mph on these things. Raced the golfcarts lol
It took me three days to get this right. IT WAS WORTH THE $120!!!
Stoked to hear you're enjoying it!! Let us know if we can help you with your progression!
This is the support people need! Beginners getting tips directly from the pros in a non-judgmental, encouraging, and fun environment. Awesome idea!
Thanks! Wish we could be around to give everyone tips and support for their first session learning
There's this guy that I've been seeing in my neighborhood just dancing on skates for years. Recently I was on my skateboard and saw him and got the courage to approach him to ask what he's riding. He is the chillest dude I've seen and got me to buy my first pair. He helped me build it and taught me the basics. On my first day (hour) i traveled about 40-50 feet without falling. So happy I have such a cool guy teaching me. Yall gotta sponsor him lol
