Oh the Electric bills.
thank goodness someone made a video like this! I'm from Minnesota so our winters tend to be around the same
What about humidity
Very nice home. Sulcatas make great pets, they're really social and are most deserving of a nice warm home, especially during Canadian winters. Very nice job.
Amazing quality set-up,dude, that's one lucky boy!
This is a really habitat. You have thought of everything. 10 stars. Hahha
This 🐢 has better house then me lol jk. Seriously Thank you for providing an awesome living for this animal 👍😀
This is too cool. The kids dad and I keep australian shingle back/sleepy lizards or bob tail lizards. We keep two of them. They are great friends. Usually find them sleeping on top of each other under their lamp(apparently what they need to digest their food-we use fruit for Lizzy and peas and Corn for bonnie-Love your enclosures. Beautiful space and space just for them. Can't seem to add a pic~was going to show you our enclosure to(inside one)
Grate setup. I'm in Washington State and I built a shed for Dexter my Salcota at 80lbs it had to be outside. Got to have him outside all winter. I check on him every day and it worked well. Now I have a big rabbit in his area and they get along well. Thank you
It's a terrible setup. Check his other videos. The fuckin thing burned down and both torts died. This guy is an idiot
That set up is bomb!
I wouldnt want your electric bills :(
nice winter home🐢
willow would bite the electrical cords :(
damn thats a pretty cool house for him..now for the ball python vids lol
Hey im curious how you maintain the humidity ? I find mine i have. To run a dehumidifier do to the heat causeing condensation.
Pretty awesome to turn your shack into a green house for your tortoise
Your electrical scares me. That's a lot of juice for those oil filled radiators.
DayNNyteDJs he did not take your warnings and his poor tortoises died. From an electrical fire of course. Such a scary setup
@@cboz337 Once again, pets paying the price for our stupidity. Sad. Don't be stupid people. These are African DESERT tortoises. They get very large and need proper care. If you don't have the ability to take care of them, don't get one. It's a lifelong commitment.
@@cboz337 What the hell? Did that really happen?
Vandyno it really did happen
@@cboz337 yeah I found the his comment explaining the situation... Kind of funny since I found this video through a thread on a forum... He was talking about how great he looks after his tortoise... RIP Dozer
How did I end up on this video? UA-cam is crazy.
Watched the whole thing though, good on you for treating your pets well :D
That’s amazing!
How cool !
Nice
nice, I'm from canada to, the winters can be cold.
not can be lol...it is extremely cold I live in Canada myself but I do wish I lived in California so I can own tortoises without having to pay lots of heater and electricity bills to keep the thing alive
Yes I live in new York and next year I plan on getting two baby sulcatas and I'm gonna need to no how to keep them warm
nice!!!
My sulcatta roams my whole yard, which is a half acre. He goes from end to end many times throughout the day. Why don't you give Dozer more of your yard?
I am getting ideas for an enclosure to be able to keep mine outside full time. I'm in Phoenix, Arizona, and it gets to 32 degrees in the winter. Thank you for this video!
This enclosure was for WINTER housing as stated in the title of this video. The tortoises had a much larger outdoor enclosure for the summer time. Sadly this greenhouse burned down last year and my tortoises perished in the fire, you can see my other video on this channel commemorating their lives.
I live on a new farm property now and have 3 new sulcatas that have a much larger outdoor pen.
@@pwilliams58OMG Dozer didn't get hurt, I hope?
No, you showed the enclosed outdoor summertime space after you showed the greenhouse, and that's what I'm referring to
@@energeticsoulhealer888 Can you fucking read? The tortoises died in the fire.
@@pwilliams58 Can you fucking be any more rude?
They just expressed their concern.
Why be a jackwagon about it?
What will you do when the tortoise reaches full size?
I will be living in a different house by then with hopefully much more property, and indoor space for the tortoises.
Love this video. Was wondering how I could have a sulcata in New York during winter
CHECK HIS OTHER VIDS. IT BURNED DOWN AND BOTH HIS TORTS GOT ICED. RIP
I seen Kamp Kenan gave you a shootout huh ? Fuck man RIP bro. Have you got new Sullies yet?
It’s been 2yrs since you posted this ... how is the setup holding up 🐢
Modified it this year to house both of my sulcatas, still holding up very well!
@@pwilliams58 hi, whats the brand and wattage of the heaters?
Quick update again. They died from his poor electrical setup
how to order a totoris
no offense but I hate Canada's bad weather
Canadas winters are fun except if you have a car lol
Carved Parachute how it's fun to have to keep heater on alot just to keep your pets warm? we spend alot of electricity on raising tortoise where in California people keep them out most of the time in natural environment without artificial heating and substrate
Suleyman Kutlu yes but snowball fights , playing in the snow and walking your dogs in the snow it's fun for me . But I'm just 13 so .....
Carved Parachute those get boring if you want better weather
Suleyman Kutlu ok that's true but I still love Canada
he is lonely :(
looly anwar I have 2 sulcata tortoises but they can't be put together as they will fight because they're both males.
Peter Williams can u bring a female ?
i did not know that ! thanks for sharing this information
