Awesome video. U explained everything very simple with easy to follow instructions along with reasonable expectations. I've been watching alot of these videos recently. All i need now is a polisher, pads, compound and polish to start my polishing journey. 🙌🏾
Bless up Savage..yea man I tried to keep it as basic and simple as possible..I’ll put out a more in depth version in the future..respect for the feedback and keep me up to date on your polishing journey!
Yoooo cool Chris thanks for the clip. I needed to peep this, like I said before I have a DA polisher in the box unpackaged for months…super afraid of messing up my garage kept whip. This clip absolutely will help! Thanks big Homie. 86, here in Wilmington NC! 🙏🏼
Keith! What’s good??? Yea man unbox that polisher and get moving! LOL..just start with a pad with no or a little cut, a light polishing product and you’ll be good! Bless up 🙏🏻
Thank you for another banger video, my brother. By the way, what brand is the folding table you are using? i need to get one. Have a blessed night, brother.
Another good vid. I’d love to polish and ceramic coat a car but haven’t gotten an opportunity yet. If there are light scratches, how many passes do you have to do to remove those light scratches? I’ve seen people do like 3 passes on a cross hatch pattern
@@t3_servicesllc Yoooo, hard to say how many passes but shouldn’t be much for light scratches esp if you use the correct pad and polish combo..thanks again for tuning in 👍🏻💯 Hope you lock in a ceramic coating install soon 💪🏼
@@cleancarchris appreciate quick response! I had someone get me a car panel to practice on. Have a DA, 3D 3in1 with lake country sponge pad. Don’t think the 3in1 in the best wax to have. So I think I’m going to change to meguiars waxes and buy more pads of different kinds. Don’t think the guy steered me in the right direction
@@t3_servicesllc just start off with paint enhancements so you don’t have to worry about damaging paint..get familiar and build up to actual cutting..you got this man 😎
I went to my local shop. The guy gave me a lake country sponge pad and 3D Speed. A guy I know says that the sponge pad is supposed to be covered by a wool pad cover that can go over the pad it self. Don’t think that’s the case for what I have. What do you suggest for a beginner to start polishing? I’ve thought about getting different pads with meguiars polishes
I’d say start off with pads and polishes with little to no cut..just get familiar and get comfortable working with the polisher itself before going in for heavier cutting. Check a local body/mechanic shop for some old panels and practice on those too..take your time and build
After a few videos, you have earned my sub, excellent work chris
Nice! Glad to hear this..respect for subbing 💯👊🏼

I suggest you go to your local junk yard and buy a panel to practice on. After you feel confident polish your own car.
@@sturam1500 that’s a good tip..I have a few panels I got from a local body shop to practice and try out diff products on..thanks for commenting!

Naples what’s good??!! Thanks for repping over there on the west coast!
Do you check paint thickness before polishing? Paint is very thin only a few mils on newer cars.
That’s a good idea if you’re cutting down the clear doing a paint correction..or atleast do a test spot
@@cleancarchris Just ordered this gauge from AmazonPrime… Thickness Meter CM-205FN
