This was SO MUCH FUN!! Love seeing the collab between Vee and Clint too! What if the next EP were about sci-fi lighting gags or props in an actors hand casting light onto themselves? Or enhancing virtual productions with VFX and lighting?
Those look like they were a lot of fun to put together. Directors/Producers! Find your VFX artist before production!! Get their input in Pre-production and try really hard to accommodate getting them to set!! A good VFX artist will know what can be done, have 2 or three ways of getting what you need, and often they know how to add the best bang for your buck!

Is there a video where Clint goes into more detail on how he did all the 3D and VFX stuff? This video is showing some clips that look like they're from another video showing him working on this project, but I can't find it.

50mm lens is the longest possible? Ummm...what now? Great video though. Looks like Clint and Valentina worked really well together. Would love to see them team up on a bigger project.

@@robertdouble559 thanks! I also would love to work with Clint again. Also - I know you were joking, but seriously - Matt rocked the edit! There was more footage for this episode than any other Aputure video x2, so he had to make some hard choices.
@Valentina Vee I kinda got that from the way he fast forwarded through Clint's explanation! I know clind could talk non stop for 3 hours about VFX. I know these are tight marketing videos, but it'd be great to have longer versions tucked away somewhere for the total geek out segment of the audience.
Camera shake looks a bit crappy. I would personally take footage from a similar angle with similar lens from a similar ditance from a wall and track that wall, then the fake camera movement would look much truer to the scene rather than tacked on. Also, that point tracker in after effects is crap. You're better of using the mask tracker in after effects, it works more like mocha, pattern tracking rather than point tracking. Clint fans will probably pile on me now, but that's their loss! 😁

Longest because I was already against a wall, I couldn’t go back any farther. But that part was cut out of the edit.

We had to cut it for time, but Clint has a bunch of different saved options to add camera shake like longer lenses, more shake, etc.
