Sports Education in Greece | adidas | Move For The Planet

Over one million people joined #MoveForThePlanet in 2023, raising €1 for every 10 minutes of movement tracked in the adidas running app.
Thanks to every person who moved, Organization Earth was able to kick start its project in the Schisto refugee camp in Athens, Greece - working with residents to achieve a common goal of educating on environmental sustainability through sport.
Move For The Planet has also allowed Organization Earth to create a football pitch and the surrounding infrastructure in part with recycled materials, meaning camp residents can access a safe sport space whenever they need it.
Giving playtime a new meaning.

This is great! So inspiring! Does anyone know the year that the pitch at the Schisto camp was built? Although this video was only posted two months ago.. I'm sure it has been there much longer.
