The dirty dealings of corrupt cop John 'Spud' Murphy

Corrupt cop John ‘Spud’ Murphy intervened in a property dispute between a financier and a suspected criminal and allegedly asked for £5,000 for himself and £5,000 for a serving officer, police investigating him for corruption have been told.
The disgraced former Superintendent who is currently serving a jail term after he was caught with over a quarter of a million euro worth of cannabis will be asked about that and a number of other allegations involving dirty money.
Nicola speaks to Niall Donald about the intimidation of an innocent businessman, a long running property dispute and how the Spud Murphy investigation is the biggest probe of corruption in the history of An Garda Siochana.

As an old man and ex cannabis smoker i could not and still do not understand why they didnt legalise the whole drug scene?? You should be able to go to your local chemist or pharmacy and buy your chosen drug for a nominal 50p whether its cannabis or heroin or coke or speed ! In the town i live in you can buy anything drugwise anyway and creates drug lords and turns a lot of users into criminals to fund their use, i never tried most but it would have been nice to buy cannabis of a nice clean hygienic chemist instead of out of a scrotes armpit........

I have some information on John Spud Murphy. If you're naive enough to think he's a one-off, you should go back to watching Tom and Jerry cartoons. There's spud like characters among the shades the length and breath of lil ole Ireland 🇮🇪. What matters is the appetite of straight cops to weed them out. I fear there's a certain amount of gastric banding in this regard. Prove me wrong...
