To note: at like 4 minutes I mention a CAD drawing and talk about its features. The imagine happened to be corrupt and it didn't export with the video. Just refer to the screens hot from before to get an idea of what I'm talking about. No detriment to the video though
Hey do you know what tool I need to use to get the screws out of a Xbox 360 les Paul guitar hero controller I'm having trouble fixing it myself because I can't get it open
Living up to your channel description, making the impossible possible. I didn't think the board to be just discarded with yesterday's coffee grounds and have the switches be soldered directly to the cables. I like, it just cut out the middle man.
Hmmmm now I’m tempted to send in my old guitar hero 3 les Paul guitar, that I got way back in 08 to get fixed, been with me for so long that it’s hard to get rid of her, she has the problem of double strumming, the frets sometime don’t register, but I have hopes of her working again
That's exactly the type of stuff I love working on. The ability to give some new life to something with full blown sentimental value to a person brings me a lot of joy.
I recently got a warbeast myself! Though, the previous owner modded it but sort of gutted a lot of features in the process, plus all the buttons feel pretty worn. I'm wondering, what sort of price would a send-in repair + modding job for one of these look like?
Hello, friend, do you happen to have a video repairing the colored buttons of that guitar? I have the exact same one, and I've never seen another video about it. I'm Spanish, and it's even harder to find information.
What’s up homie, I have a old drum set and guitar for the ps2 that I haven’t played in over 10years now, they’re both in relatively good condition… if you could bring them back to life you’d make my year
Currently trying to take a break over the summer but once my kids go back to school I will have a pretty open schedule and I do plan on only doing send in repairs for a good while
I just bought a warbeast second hand, your video was very helpful thank you!!! I wonder its there any way to use it on pc without the dongle. for example a bluetooth radio or something?
hey mate, just got myself one of these beauties I intend to arduino, and so I have a question for you which is how was the neck joint on this guitar when you had it? the 1 I picked up seems mostly in great condition, but the neck is awful and flexes at the joint. was this a problem you noticed? and what was your remedy? because like its so bad on mine I want to look at potentially permanently bolting the neck on to the body internally or welding the plastic or something.
So I hadn't noticed anything out of the ordinary with the neck. It actually felt quite sturdy and had no issues. I didn't even mess with the connector or anything else. But I do know these things were made in batches so the quality could differ. As for what to do, I'd say get a thin aluminum plate that can be cut down to fit and bolt it to the backside of body and backside of neck. It'll be kinda wonky putting it back together but much better than having any screws or blemishes on the front of body.
So you think is it better to use keyboard switch instead limit switches? I've seen a reel of you showing that using TEMCo Limit Switch get mor clicky and better then other modding kit
Each application is different. I like the limit switches a lot but for something like this, space and the original board holding the strum bar down, I had to use the key switches. But normally any RB style guitar I would do limits
I am currently on hiatus at the moment but I am open to repairs in the near future once school starts for my kids and I get back to a non summer routine. Shamless plug but I'll be making a video on it when I reopen my store and ill have all the info in there
Yeah it's not that hard actually. Sadly I don't have one to break into to know exactly what it would involve. But I've done a handful of rock band guitars and 3rd party stuff it's all relatively simple now

I've heard Philips and t6 security screws but I'm not positive myself, what does the indentation on the screw look like? @@nathancopeland6441

Hi, do you still do send in repairs?
I just bought a warbeast second hand, your video was very helpful thank you!!! I wonder its there any way to use it on pc without the dongle. for example a bluetooth radio or something?
or better to arduinoit so I can keep it more reliable
@@Rasjelk yeah everyone just arduinos theirs or sends em out to get done. That's the best way and makes them have 0 latency

neck joint looks like a Nintendo DS cart pinout 😂
Omg never even thought of that but wow I totally see that

I just bought 2 Les Paul's for 360 and neither work. I would love to send them to you for repair. How can I contact you directly?

Would there be a way to make the Warbeast wired for PC? A guide would be amazing.

Would you be open to commissions? I could send it out to you. Would be cool if you could make a video with it showing how you did it too.
