You keep it real! My sister and I bikepacked the Great Divide Mtb Route when I was 56 and she was 53...Mexico to Banff - 3,000 miles and an entire summer. We were NOT in shape when we started, but we felt invincible by the end. I remember many, many climbs...grinding away at 2-3mph. Distance per day depending on so many factors, but generally between 30-50ish miles. Some days we rode only 10 miles and stopped because we found a perfect campsite - because, why not? Like you, I'm retired now and trying to get back in shape after a really hard year.... Thanks for your videos. They always make me smile.
Wow! First thank you so much for your comment and for watching our video. Really appreciate it. I am very impressed you did the great divide. That one scares me but it is on my bucket list. It’s weird how so many people do spend their first year of retirement fixing ourselves. We’re coming along and will be in tip top shape in no time. Thank you so much for the support.
You two are an inspiration! That was awesome!
Thank you so much!

So good to see an example of respecting limits 🙏🏼
Awesome job! Such an inspiration. The ride down looked like so much fun!

Amazing effort. I'm not sure I'd stick it out even for Seymour. Ethel, you're a good gal.
thanx for watching and yes I think at the end of the summer we will do it again on our gravel bikes. But first we have to buy them.
The swearing 😂 and bleeping
I love the conversation with Ethel
