A true talent, i don't get why Brian Johnson didn't have a bigger audience. A great singer songwriter.
He was mates with me brother John and i remember him singing at our house in '64 at Johns' 21st in Rockhampton Queensland Australia. Many many moons ago.
brilliant lyrics....sung in the kevin Johnson "less is more" manner...a song which still stands up today..
10 out of 10 from me....took me about 3 month's to find the name of this song......funny thing is as we get older, the older songs get better...? Kevin is a true talent....hope he reads this..!
Another very much "under rated" Australian talent
Another classic song from the very talented Kevin johnson
Sitting in the back of the hot car singing along to this great mans songs, ahh the 70's
what a great Aussie talent.
Love this song. Gives me goosebumps. Plus my beautiful daughter is called Bonnie.
This bloke is world class!
Very under rated Kevin Johnston own off national tressures.
A part of the soundtrack of my life...loved it as a kid!
Same here-remember hearing this on NZ radio during the early 70,s,enjoyed it then still enjoying it 2021
Without a doubt, the greatest talent Australia has ever produce.
Nice video. Have always loved this song, and I too have been waiting for it to appear on YT. Thanks.
I'v been listening to this song ever since it was released
Got this on an old 45 somewhere! Love it.
Amazing everytime I hear it I have loved this artist pretty much all my life This video brings back 1971 when I travelled by ship from Australia to England through the Panama canal. A REAL ship in the days when it was still the "normal" way to go. Remains one of the great highlights of my lie As do the so many hours listening to Kevin
I am going on 70,and this song brings back memories of my High School teacher who introduced us to this song
First time I have heard this song and I must say it,s a great song

The saddest song I ever heard because the words echo exactly what was going on for me at the time.
yes,,me too exactly ,,when my girlfriend sailed out of my life for good ,,then found her again 45 years later on facebook
Anybody have a 1971 song of Kevin Johnson's called "All our favorite songs " ?..Been looking for it for years.
Like the old songs
most amazing talent grossly underated
Men like this song. Nostalgia and repressed emotions
Women love it too, because we learned to know all about men's repressed emotions...over the years ;-)! Great song, great singer - and so modest! Three cheers to all Aussies!
superb lyrics
A grat song sung by a very good singer, Sadly underated.
A favourite of mine since 1975. Pride got the better of him. It reminds me of the lyrics of "The Music Played"
A brilliant song.
I love his song fields of France
Voice sounds like roger miller, even has an american twang to it.paints an image of a broken hearted man.
great beat
got a bit of roger miller in his voice and his song writing seems tending the same way i feel...
Love this song
Would love to see the new Queen Mary, I have been on the original QM many years ago lol
HA HA HA LOL LOVE IT
ABSOLUTELY ...rob the log, you just don't get talent like that now. See Noel Watsons music and read his history, sad loss to the Aussie music industryin 2013
