I rented one this past weekend. I had big fun. I loved it.
Very good explanations from Tony, feel like he is my mate. Loading into Forrester especially informative. Dave in NZ
Best thing l ever bought!

Make it a great deal and turn your production to be a much huger production? Win-win!
I owned a travel scoot for 9 years. Great machine. Many compliments everywhere I went. Travels great. My only complaint... I wish it had more power. I sold it last year and bought a triad 750 XL (powerful) but doesn’t travel as well... having said that, it did great at Disney(FL).
Two different machines with different capabilities. Sport vs Practicality.
Please tell me more about the Triad. Compare it to the travel scooter, please.
你们的电动Scooter看起来很好用很想买一架来用但不知道去那里买了和一架多少钱?在马来细亜有代理商吗?
My wife absolutely loves hers but the drive motor is beginning to go bad. We now have to give her a push forward to get the scooter to go. Where can we get a replacement ?
What degree of incline can it handle? Looking for something that will easily let me use public transit - not only does it need to go up the ramp to load on/off the bus, but also need to operate up/down my driveway, as the garage is tucked under the house. I'm not a scooter carrying up/down steps whenever I need to go out. The neighborhood is on top of a small hill surrounded in every direction by bridges and pedestrian underpasses. Local grocery shopping means traveling a 10-20 degree slope for about 2 city blocks. I'm looking for something that tucks out of the way -- even while in use -- and this scooter looks the part for flat surfaces. But like all scooters, the visuals show operation on basically flat terrain like we're all in the prairies. Please show travel up/ down a slope (the max it can handle preferred), so we can envision if and how it will handle during regular daily routines for our circumstances.
Thanks for the question. The TravelScoot will do twice that of an ADA-approved ramp. So around 8 degrees. A 20-degree slope is a 36% slope. The steepest roads you'll find are about that. Mountain passes are about 8 degrees. We do not recommend you use any mobility scooter on such a steep incline.
You have Dealer in Europa ?
Cuanto cuesta please!???
Danque!
I would like to purchase a used one of these.
I’m looking for something like this but need it to have the following specs. It has to be foldable, travel safe and can fit in the trunk of a small sedan like a Mazda 3 or Toyota Yaris. Also that it can go up an incline like a hill like street. Any suggestions?
The travelscoot Escape would be perfect.
If I purchase one in Canada and then move to Australia am I able to buy a battery that would be able to be charged in Australia as it is a 240v
Hi Vicki, our battery chargers are universal voltage, which means they operate on any household current around the globe, from 100 VAC to 240 VAC. So, yes, you would be able to charge your battery in AU.
When we moved to Australia we brought a transformer so we could us some of our electric appliances
How does unit handle inclines and rough roadways?
Look at the channel. They have a ton of videos covering your questions.
Hi Marilyn, the TravelScoot does not have a back-up beeper. Please check which product you have and contact the manufacturer. You can always call us for assistance at 800 342-2214.
I would love to see someone over 6' riding or hear a testimonial. It looks very small and might not be comfortable. Just wondering.
Thanks for the suggestion, Bill. Our tallest customer is the Phillipine's basketball player of the decade, Junemar Fajardo, who is 6'11. You can see him here: www.travelscootusa.com/sizes. Just scroll down to the "Full-size" section. We'll ask the next customer that comes in to see if he/she is willing to let us take their photo on it. We also have some 6'+ individuals on our gallery page, www.travelscootusa.com/gallery. Let us know if you have any further questions.- TS USA
Boa noite, esse valor de 2,655.00 é em Euro?
I would love one of these, it would change my life, but they cost $4000 in Canada. Why? How can it possibly cost >$4000?
Thanks for your interest in TravelScoot. Please review the various packages on shop.travelscootcanada.com/. You will find that some include extra batteries, etc. Also, these are covered by insurance in Canada.
It cost in Germany 2500 Euro. But I think every Item for the old people are far to expensive.
@@snifferking4330 Agreed.
How much is it and where do you get one? Can you take battery on an airplane?
Hi! Please go to www.travelscoot.com, which is our international website. You can select your country from the order now page, which will give you current pricing, and availability. The 274 watt-hour lithium ion battery is accepted by airlines in most countries, with the exception of a few (notably China, and Cuba has been saying 160 watt-hour limit). We do offer a 151 watt-hour lithium ion battery if you're planning on going to those countries. As always, do your research with your airline prior to flying.
In Canada they cost between $3500 and 4500 before tax.
The TravelScoot in Canada is $3,495. The TravelScoot is a registered medical device in Canada. There is no tax . The scooter can also be covered by your private insurance provider.
@@rustymac107 I wonder what percentage of Canadian seniors don't have private insurance? I'm guessing it's quite high.

I would to see how to charge the batteries on the model S3021 when you take the batteries out the scooter :)
Hi Luci, the S3021 is made by Solax, and we don't have all the details on that machine. You may need to contact your seller or Solax directly.
This assembly process may be difficult for the people who would use a product like this
Have you seen the new model that replaced this one?

good disable 😅👍
I need one of these lol
Maybe you ordered one from their website!!! But there's a problem and it's that they don't approve Medicare insurance.
How about showing someone older or disabled putting this together, not everyone has someone to help. I live on my own so would have to do this myself.
I love these Videos that give No Price and where you could Buy One if interested. I can following written directions. Then if i would have a question, i can watch a put together video .,,,,,
The site URL where you can buy one is in the video description, as is a contact email and phone number. What more do you want?
Is this available in india..??
Thanks for your interest. While there is currently no distributor in India, there may be international shipping options. Please visit www.travelscoot.com/order-now/
Do these reverse?
Yes, all newer (from late 2013) TravelScoot models go in reverse.
The earlier models didn't but the latest model does.
I keep seeing prices in the dollar sign and in the thousands, but I am in the UK OF ENGLAND in Yorkshire and I am really interested but that amount is totally ridiculous, can you give me a more realistic price please and in English pounds please thankyou.
We’re TravelScoot USA. We don’t sell in the U.K. Contact the distributor in your country for prices.
I just bought a fantastic scooter in the UK. It beats all these hands down in terms of design, portability and handling. Majority of disability products are unsightly and cumbersome as though we have no need for style and aesthetics. Truly shocking how much is charged too.
I recently bought an ATTO mobility scooter for 2,500 GBP in the UK for around the same price as the TRAVELSCOOT.. To me the ATTO looks like the TESLA of mobility scooters whilst the TRAVELSCOOT looks like a child's tricycle. However, the ATTO is around 10 KGs heavier but does break into two parts for easier lifting.
Up
There are other lightweight scooters much easier to assemble - or simply open up! This looks complex and tedious

To expensive
Thanks for your comment. Once again: Our scooter it still the lightest and strongest on the market today. This requires uncompromising engineering, materials and workmanship (btw, these are hand-built). You can purchase inexpensive (under $1000) scooters that weigh 3X as much or more and carry less, maybe 250 lbs., and have conventional batteries, and little or no warranty or product support. You can also find similar products (not as light, though) that cost considerably more. Feel free to contact us as usa@travelscoot.com if you have any questions or further comments.
This style unit runs about $2,500. Yes, as much as an old used car. Absurd cost! I just picked a small[ish] scooter, used with second battery pack, for $350. So don't buy new. These things are cheap and easy to fix anything wrong with them. Much the same controls as an R/C robot or car without the wireless parts.
One can find used conventional (read: heavy - you'll need a lift to get into and out of a car) mobility scooters, of course, in various price ranges. You can also pick up a used bicycle for free at most garbage dumps, or find a nice used competition bike for a few thousand $. Most mobility scooters are constructed of stamped steel parts that are then bolted and/or wire-feed welded, with very little innovation. The TravelScoot frame is made of formed, TIG-welded, heat-treated and anodized aluminum. It's strength-to-weight ration is over 10:1, far surpassing that of conventional scooters. The complete scooter weighs just 35 lbs. with battery! We'd love to tell you more about the TravelSoot. Just give us a call at 800 342-2214.
What do you think of his reply to your statement about getting this $350 scooter do you think is reply outweighs your points or do you think it's a wash or do you think your point outweigh his in importance

@@TravelScootUSA This is one of those things that costs far, far more than it should because it is assumed there is a large market of insured buyers, and since you have been in business for a long time, there clearly is.
@@IvyRoad Insurance in the US generally does not cover highly portable scooters such as the TravelScoot. Besides, the US does not have a "large market of insured buyers" when compared to other countries. No customer has ever complained about the high cost after they purchased a TravelScoot. No other mobility scooter has a strength-to-weight ratio greater than ours (over 10:1), coupled with a two-year warranty including the battery.
@@TravelScootUSA I'm happy to hear that your customers are happy. I'm not surprised to hear it. Your product is very practical. Sadly, the cost is prohibitive for me.
@@IvyRoad If you are in Canada, please check with TravelScoot Canada at
sales@travelscootcanada.com as they are frequently covered by insurance in Canada, as we understand it.
