- After serving Eastern Railways for more than 45 years, iconic ALCO Locomotive WDM-3A Twins bids FINAL GOODBYE to the City of Joy Kolkata and departs Dakshineswar Station with it's soulmate 13149 UP Sealdah - Alipurduar Kanchankanya Express.
It was the last Diesel Run of Kanchankanya Express with its partner for life - The WDM-3A locomotive and since then she lost her partner forever.
Indian Railways is in a process to shut down the entire Diesel Traction in years to come and very few Diesel Trains are remaining in isolated parts across the country.
With my heart filled with pain i just want to say - Alvida Dost, Fir Milenge Kahin Aur, Kisi Aur Janam mein 💔

Bada dukh ki baat hai Diesel engine jo humare desh ka aur Railway ka shaan tha ab wo dur hota hua jaa raha hai. Pahele yah engine ko dekh ke log Railway ke uper garv karte the, bachhe isse dekhne ke liye bachen rahate the, Sahar se jab gujarta tha tho log iska aawaz aur heavy parts ko dekhte hi rahate the lekin Aaj dheere dheere wo sab khatam hone jaa raha hai.
