Two USB ports let you plug in and play
Copy tracks between CD and USB. Simply connect your device to the PLAY/REC port and you’re ready to transfer. If you’re recording directly to USB, it’s also possible to upgrade the bitrate from the default 128 kbps to 256 kbps for heightened audio quality.

Can you connect a shake x-30 to a sanyo flat screen in stereo? How can you connect your TV to get in stereo through a shakeX-30?
If your screen has Audio Out then u can connect it through composite connection.

Does this thing turn off? I hit the power button and it goes on standby
for a few seconds and it then switches to Sony Demo mode and just keeps
going. I let it sit for more than 15 minutes to see if it would
eventually go to standby with no media playing, but it didn't. It seems
silly and wasteful to have lights flashing all the time. The
instructions say that you need to turn the unit off to get out of Demo
mode, but the thing only goes into standby. The instructions also
neglect to say how to turn it off. Unplugging it and plugging it back
in also does not solve the problem.

Just got this, liked the design better but i think the LG OJ98 has better sound, marginally and it has a more controllable equalizer, you can change bass, mids and treble. here with the sony you get options for different types of music but can't fine tune the eq like in the LG.

Manzar Tech oh yea I installed that, it's a bit better with some EQ, but it distorts easily ;(, LG OJ98 is a beast and didn't distort like the Sony and at a cheaper price

Disculpen una.pregunta para la gente que tenga este componente .en la parte de atras hay un agujero circular donde supuestamente en otros componentes que eh tenido tienen un cooler (ventilador) pero no tiene nada quisiera saber si asi es?

I think you need to have that checked by an authorized Sony technician. That probably means the system is protecting itself against further damage
