Praise the Lord! The song reminds me of a Pentecostal Pastor and his wife opening the praise portion of the sermon. It was the first of my three visits. The year 1987. I was searching, seeking the Lord to help save my marriage. My wife would have none of that. I was 28 at the time. I stopped attending. I prayed, now and then. Divorced at 30. It took another 31 years from my Pentecostal experience for me to surrender. Praise the Lord, God is faithful! Amen
wow authentic southern sound ....can feel the sadness on that one .

These beautiful girls are distantly related to Elvis Presley 😄.

I just love that southern drawl when these gals talk. It sounds so sexy when I hear a girl talk like that and if I marry again, I'm gonna' marry me a girl from the States! I love that Taylor guitar as well, it sounds mellow! Hmmm, since I have a Gibson maybe I should jam with her! Great vocal harmonies together!

Just got home from working outside all day. What a treat, a cold bottle of water and some music from the Pressley Girls!!
Please don't ever give up making music! It is how we, as musicians, can combat the dark forces of this world. Sharing the gifts we have been given is how we honor our God and how we reach those who have ears to hear. Blessings and love to y'all!
You are a blessing to us all.

I'm moving to East Tennessee from upstate SC in a month. When people ask me why I want to go to school there, I tell them its because I think that's where home is. I've always lived in the city but Appalachia lives in my dreams. Thanks for the beautiful music!

Thank you for songs like this that take us back generations to Kentucky and the Carolinas. I live in Texas but both of my family lines started in the Carolinas, crossed the Cumberland Gap, then moved into Kentucky, Tennessee and continued west each generation. You remind us of where we came from.
Hey that’s great. And that’s a neat history too! Thanks!
Thank you for yet another nice song with great playing & harmony singing 💕
