Your channel is an absolute gem, just brought a gen 3 pajero your videos have been really useful. Love the look of the headlights, I'll probably chuck in halo shrouds on mine for the drl so it's less of a black hole, cheers for the inspiration bud
My headlights are so faded that the light is scattered everywhere, and the high beam doesn't work at all. I'm also thinking about installing LED projectors. Thanks for the video, it’s going to be a big help when I upgrade my headlights.
Hey Brian, good video as always. I actually just received eBay replacement housings like 2 days ago, and unboxed them when watching this video! They look pretty good, but after inspecting I do see one small area on each that could use calk to be sure. Thanks for that idea before I get busy installing them. I'm just going with GTR standard-style LED replacements.
Great video and a good mod. Did you know you can put a Philips screw driver into the teeth on the front of the headlight 8mm bolt? That makes adjustment way easier!
Need help finding a part for my gen 3 Montero. MR407202 that’s the part number but can’t quite find at stores. My 2001 Montero limited with no traction control version has a leaking Master brake cylinder. Want to buy it new or rebuild. Any suggestions? Thanks
maybe you are confused about what the reflectors do. in a traditional headlight set up (using a halogen bulb) the reflectors help to focus and direct the light. however in an LED projector all of that is done with the projector housing, therefore the stock reflectors are actually ONLY cosmetic. so i figure, why not paint it a color that i like instead of a color that i don't.

Hello. What brand are the projectors?
auxbeam
@@montanamontero Do you have the part # for the projectors and the harness?
Model number from his box is GD002147. Looks like the harness comes with the lights.
@@zachu1602 Thx, did not catch that.
You blacked out the reflectors in your headlights because it looks good? There is something really wrong with you, mate.

@@montanamontero I don't believe you're right, but I don't know you're wrong.
@@Expedient_Mensch please do some research before making a degrading comment.
@@montanamontero Thanks for being more courteous than I was.
