This is quickly becoming my favorite channel on YT. Answering the questions I've been asking myself in my head all week haha. Thank you
Sam LaPorta strained hi hamstring at the beginning of training camp. The Rams game was his first time back. So they kept him basic. Decoys and blocking. Hopefully this game against the Cards will be his breakout game.
I agree with your take regarding the issues with the Lions IOL. I wish there was another rating system beyond PFF. If someone knows a reliable one, please share.
Thanks for the video. 👍🏻❤️🦁🏈
Your right the interior O.L. play is weak. excellent brake down.We need to run the ball,to get to play action.
WHAT A COOL INTRO!
From what I heard Sam is going to retire cause he isn’t targeted enough. Oh the suspense.
Lmao yea right
Excellent analysis as usual.
One comment stuck out to me. Ironically one that didn't deal with Sam LaPorta. Your comment that you didn't think the pass rush was that great was telling. If you're tight ( and I don't doubt you, I know you said others feel differently but I'm not one of them) it would explain Goff's return to his Lt. Check down days st the end of his ram years. Goff is great when everything is just right, great protection, weapons at every position, and a solid plan. Take some of that away, and he drops off FAST.
as you Pointed out, the Tampa plan took away his favorite place to throw to and gave him more pressure. This resulted in him throwing short because when he gets rattled ( which is easy to do) he can't find the deep ball. This means the league has figured the lions out and the great lions dynasty is about to be strangled in its crib. I hope I'm wrong
Let's go!
Lions O-Line is playing average and this offense requires them to be good.
He's injured
Not a great start for Zeitler so far
Zeitler has been our best interior player by far this season
@BjorkBjork-y4b according to PFF but that doesn't paint the whole picture
He needs to shave that damned mustache.
