Nice! It is always good to hear from people that own a Chinese brand because it gives more weight to their comment. I'm glad you have had a good experience with BYD.

I would buy a Chinese brand EV if it ever comes to Canada. But because of the political climate generally in North America, that's going to take some time, maybe a long time. The federal government talks about climate change a lot, but there is very little effort, and i mean concrete actions, to encourage buyers to switch to EVs from ICEs first of all, doesn't matter the country of origin. Range anxiety is till a thing in Canada, given the country is huge with sparsely populated. The current splash of EV and battery activities in Eastern Canada (Ontario) is not really geared towards Canadians but to keep up with the American markets. ie. EVs and batteries made in Canada would probably be shipped south to the US, as always have been and will always be. So, Canada, IMHO, is still nicely stuck in the 1990s level of technology development. I think we have found our comfort zone.
Yes, it was like that in China a few years back, but the government gave a lot of incentives to buy EVs and develop the market. Now, they are leading the world. Sometimes, the governments need to take actions with the future in mind and not just protecting what they currently have....
I would buy a Chinese car, provided they have enough servicing locations here in North America and the American government gives them assurance to not get sanctioned. So sadly, the chances are slim.
Their EVs look amazing. The prices also seem friendlier. The issue then goes to parts if they break for customers in far markets like Africa. And also the availability of charging stations. All these things I know they have a plan for. I would buy a Chinese car, most definitely
I am thinking seriously about buying an EV in the next year. It will almost certainly be Chinese, based on value-for-money and consideration of the very good quality of Chinese brands available in Australia such as BYD and MG. Geopolitical factors completely preclude me from buying an American brand such as Tesla (even though made in China), because of the appalling treatment of China by the US government started by the Trump administration and continued by the Biden administration -- I will let my money do the talking. I also don't like the EU's sudden hostility towards Chinese EVs either with their false claims of 'dumping' of Chinese EVs in Europe. In fact, the prices of Chinese EVs in Europe are significantly higher than the corresponding prices in China.
In countries with insufficient charging facilities, BYD’s plug-in hybrid electric vehicles are recommended, which have the speed of electric vehicles and the ability to quickly refuel fuel vehicles, with high mileage and low fuel consumption. A bridge car consumes 3.9L of fuel for 100KM, and an SUV consumes 4.9L of fuel for 100KM.
The hybrid cars are good for locations that don't have a lot of charging stations. I think a lot of people will choose that option if they are concerned about stations.
Since US auto companies (maybe except Tesla) cannot compete in EV, Chinese EV cars will be blocked from the US market. Don't expect to see cheap Chinese EVs in the US for a while.
Hi, I ask you brother if you want to buy chinese car than which brand and model will you prefer and why ? Also please advise which three brands will be the most reliable also even suggest few models from them.
I am in the states and yes I would consider buying a Chinese made car. This would require what I do before any car purchase, lot's of research in reliability and durability. Back in 2019 pre pandemic I was pretty excited about the ORA Good Cat since there were articles about them starting a dealer network in the states. The info I was able to find indicated a solid well built car with a standard battery density that enabled a range of 220 miles. Sadly the pandemic happened and that was the last I heard of it coming here. The batteries in most of the U.S. made cars come from China anyway and Tesla who makes there own batteries have more battery fires than all the others combined and never mind the suspension collapse issue they have. I will always have a ICE vehicle but a electric for short trips and around town is enticing if well built and engineered.
Main two Chinese cars here in Australia are Great Wall (Haval) and MG. Cherry was here a few years back, but the models they had here were absolute garbage. I would not buy as I cannot afford new and expect any car I buy to last 15 years. I would suggest that if you want either of these go for lease and trade up just before warranty expires. They would probably be more popular here but trade tensions between China/Australia have put some potential buyers off.

I´ve already bought a Changan cs35 plus. The EV-service network is underdeveloped here, as many other things, therefore, EVs are out of the equation. I´ve been 2 years with it. I am not rich, so, to me, the car looked so premium, I said to myself this is my time!. No problem so far.
I would buy a BYD seal or dolphin in America though model y is more likely with incentive and charging network. I think both Li auto and XPeng sold more cars than Nio.
If the EV comes here you can kiss good bye to American auto industries. Even now at this moment auto workers are on strikes this is a very very thin line just how fragile our auto industries are and it about to collapse.
I would if- The price is right, the quality control is good, there is the ability and parts readily available for repairs. The same as I'd want to consider in buying any other vehicle.
I would love to have a NIO ES6 or ET9 the latest and the greatest. Here are the key points why? NIO the only company able to provides a technology the no one has yet; Save time, save money, and worry free.
I will wait until they are produced here in Mexico, that is where I live. Now it's only JAC making the final assembly here. So now buying Chinese cars is easy. They are nice, not so bad and have attractive prices, BUT when you need a service part due to an accident or any repair, you need to wait four to six weeks at least... Hopefully this will happen very soon, Mexico is always producing for the US market some of the best things, not only cars...
Again…yo must have spent a lot of time on searching n downloading commercial demos of these car brands, it's a great deal of works incl video cutting, mixing n editing, superman…
Ikr? I've seen some Chinese brand EVs' interior so sleek and clean and free of cluster that some owners even want to redecorate the interior with their own touches. I would personally leave the interior as is. It gives you a futuristic look.
Some people like the LED screens and think it makes the car more high-tech. But, I can understand why some would want a simpler design. I think it just comes down to each person. Luckily with many of these EVs they can be customized, which means you might be able to find one with fewer LED screens or it could be changed.
Products made by reputable Chinese company is most likely realiable and trustworthy in quality and price. What I don't have confidence in is American and European products (in general) made in foreign counturies (in gerneal: American, European companies producing or contracting foreign companies to manufacture things.) That's when things have a tendency to be poor in quality and unreliable. It's just how U.S and Europe and companies work (even for things manufactured at home, Boeing is a current prime example.)
What weakness west is talking about chinese economy? I see nothing but strength only thing China needs to do is to allow complete free trade and bring in immigrants like the us model. For example huawei and byd could bring foreigner employees and market to new markets. China's population is not a problem but a plus to serve the globals 8 billion population for goods and services.
What concerns about bio battery swap stations do u have? They reached 1800 this year already! Do u due diligence before spewing halfbaked info! Nio already aims to add up to 2600 this year in total
I'm talking about overseas markets.... Which is why I showed the map of EU. There aren't that many outside of China, and within China, they are mostly in major cities. So, if you aren't living in a city, it can be a concern. If you don't think that is a real concern that is a matter of opinion. According to reports "By the end of 2023, NIO plans to have 120 such stations across Europe." www.gizchina.com/2023/08/17/nio-power-station-europe/
I reckon swap station look like a bigger garage attached a control room . Therefore , it should not be difficult to set up as a gas station. The set up don't need big land which can be costly . I heard NIO even has a few NIO facility houses in Norway.
We bet a couple of Chinese brands in Australia but they can't compete against Toyota the biggest selling vehicle brand in Australia for the past 26 years a lot of Australians like reliable car brands and there is only one other Japanese car make thar will knock Toyota off is Mazda l can be thankful for that by the way in Australia you are never to far from a Toyota in a short 10km drive l can see at least 150 Toyota's parked driving around they are everywhere and l do own a Toyota myself a 1997 Hilux yes there are many 25 year old Toyota's on the road
I live in Australia, we have lost our Aussie made Holdens and Fords which a lot of Australians are very sad about. Chinese cars are not made for Australian conditions and there has been a lot of problems with them here. My hubby and I will never own a Chinese branded/made car let alone an EV. Unless you live in a city EVs are useless here. We own one of the last Holden Commodores which was made in Germany and we absolutely love it. We are soon going to buy a Ford Ranger Wildtrax which is Australian designed and made in Thailand. The big Utes are becoming very popular here such as the RAMS and Chevrolet Silverado and Ford Rangers.
I would never buy a Chinese car due to reliability and quality concerns. Also, their software and infotainment system isn't Professional and mostly don't support apple car play. And finally, their cruise control/auto pilot system isn't reliable like the German ones.

if you havent look at Barret and living in china both of them went to the shanghai motor show and shown a nice range of chinese evs
I would love to have a NIO ES6 or ET9 the latest and the greatest. Here are the key points why?
NIO the only company able to provides a technology the no one has yet;
Save time, save money, and worry free.
Dolphin 😊
As long as it provides good value for my money, why won't I buy one from China ?
Agreed, I think it will come down to quality and cost. Like most things, consumers want a good product.
0:40 You don't find Chinese cars in the US.
Appearances of the most Chinees cars look amazing but i doubt of the quality . And i wish they would have made bigger engines like v6 v8
Just if they could also do something with the goofy sounded names ! Yang Wang ? Dong fong ? Dang bang ?
“Maybe not in the US” -heart shattered 😭😭😭
👏👏👏
US prices that are still gouging the public must come down for all cars sold there OR eventually the US public will demand a cheaper alternative
Again…yo must have spent a lot of time on searching n downloading commercial demos of these car brands, it's a great deal of works incl video cutting, mixing n editing, superman…
Yes, it took some time, but I think it came out okay. I'm never really sure how people will responded to my videos, but I hope people will like them.
@@TripBitten awesome for sure!
@@TripBittenI appreciate the video, thank you!
Damn can we get some too 😫 USA
I would get a Hybrate but i wouldn't get a Chinese parts because of the parts
What brand are those 4x4 cars 3min 41 seconds into the video?
东风猛士917。中国军用车基本上都是这个牌子,现在他们开始在民用车市场专注了
I want a simple EV without large LED screen. Just electric motor and battery, no AI, absolute 0 electronics on dashboard.
DFM present in Indonesia 🇮🇩 as DFSK but the start is not going well.. Wuling is better for the Chinese 🇨🇳 market share in Indonesia 🇮🇩 ❤😂🎉😅😊
coool
What concerns about bio battery swap stations do u have? They reached 1800 this year already! Do u due diligence before spewing halfbaked info! Nio already aims to add up to 2600 this year in total
Nio*
I buy a lot of pine nuts tea and fish
I Need cheap And Good Car.
Yes ❤️🇨🇳🙏😇
Main reason for not buying a Chinese car is reliability
i wouldn't buy a Chinese made car because i can't drive. Otherwise i would.
lol you can always learn to drive....
We bet a couple of Chinese brands in Australia but they can't compete against Toyota the biggest selling vehicle brand in Australia for the past 26 years a lot of Australians like reliable car brands and there is only one other Japanese car make thar will knock Toyota off is Mazda l can be thankful for that by the way in Australia you are never to far from a Toyota in a short 10km drive l can see at least 150 Toyota's parked driving around they are everywhere and l do own a Toyota myself a 1997 Hilux yes there are many 25 year old Toyota's on the road
xpeng leapmotor Li auto
Also good brands looking to expand
Goodbye Mercedes,BMW,Toyota, Ford.
expand into the USA market
Yes I would buy attorneys car pretty sure I would buy Chinese anything
China, please make pickup trucks, we can't afford American anymore
Nepal 🇳🇵 Birth place of Buddha.
I would never buy a Chinese car due to reliability and quality concerns. Also, their software and infotainment system isn't Professional and mostly don't support apple car play. And finally, their cruise control/auto pilot system isn't reliable like the German ones.
Why won't they just release Me to People with a Balanced point of view pretending the danger away and 🇺🇲 conniving 🧠 🌊 aren't healthy for proper AI function the grown ups understand the danger of empowering to much in 1 direction 🤔❤️
