Instead of starting from a triangle, I like to start from a square. Just rotate a square 45 degrees so it’s a diamond and then delete the top anchor point. You shouldn’t have to move the bottom anchor point unless you want a more pointy heart.

As and when, if you ever get the urge to take on a request (no expectations here), will you do a tutorial on curves, and more specifically complex curves? I struggle in particular with curve shapes for statistical distributions (like the normal or bell curve, or the Binomial curve. I animate them for tutorials for my students, but I always end up taking excel charts output because my curves look manky in AI. The result is pretty ugly and nigh impossible to animate in AE. There are some tuts out there but they're very limited or plain wrong (very stylised but unusable for teaching). anyway, maybe one day! Thanks again for great videos.
