Love it, nothing like a good "mud facial" for that youthful glow. I love your laugh, very infectious. The Solstice ride sounds like a blast. Thanks again for another great video
Salisbury plains are awesome in summer. Sloppy now. Going through imber village, old sarum, Stonehenge, amesbury stones, past Stings house so many single track narrow trails to do. Lots of the king Alfred’s way heads out from old Sarum too. I always go to that pub for pizzas and pies. Nole do it right for sure. You stopped at the best place in Wilton This event will be amazing.
We did a “uk gravel” ride the other week in the Surrey hills, mixed in with some mtb trails but was pretty much a mud fest! So much harder to pedal and takes a lot of energy just to go a short distance. This route looked really fun!
You dropped an unintentional bilingual pun in there - "We're going to be approaching Stonehenge by bike, which is pretty rad!" ("Rad" means "bike" or "wheel" in German). Yes, I am a massive dork 😅
Your sky and where you are is the same as Nebraska... if i blind folded you couldn't tell if you were in the UK or then middle of United States or America part of the world... 😁
Definitely didn't see anything that looked remotely like US gravel there! Not sure how I'm going to cope with that when I'm back in the UK for a few weeks this summer?!

What does US gravel mean? Cause I am in the US desert, which is not really like that or what the rest of the gravel riding people think of US gravel. I think you'd enjoy desert gravel riding.
The funniest thing for me these last few years is watching British youtubers "especially one you know in the Torquay area" on their "Gravel bikes" actually looking for gravel, it's very funny! I've come to the conclusion the bike industries should make new bikes just for the UK market "Mud Bikes". I live in Poland, and seriously, no seriously, I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooo sick of gravel, you cant get away from it, it is gravel heaven, its everywhere! On the edge of cities, at least 80% of forests and fields and woodland tracks are gravel!
@@the.communist I am English, I am aware of Britain's countryside and it's massive differences to Poland. But I'm also aware of the fact that America is 9,833,520 km sq, and Poland is 313,000. So your statement is pretty useless really, comparing the US with any European country is pointless in comparison!

Stone Henge, one of my bucket list items as well as the pyramids & sphinx of Egypt 😎
Oh you are near my way hope you enjoyed it 😊

Loved the comment “Druids doing Druidy things”😂 Fantastic😊👍
Sold my gravel bike on Gumtree and picked up an XC hardtail immediately when I moved to the UK
Another brilliant video ❤️❤️🚐🚐 xx
Such a fan 🎉🎉🎉
Your videos cheer me up 😊
I'm glad!
Juliet one should try the “green divide” ,a 2or 3 Days gravelride in thé Netherlands
Come ride Nordic Gravel Series in Sweden this August for some good gravel riding. 🤙
I might make it over there to one of those
@@JulietElliottsChannel Reach out if you do! Bergslagen one is great. Both race & social ride available.
Ah, my back yard. Shame you seemed to miss the best parts!
I liked some of the music tracks. Pls share.❤
Who else is on team cheese… it’s the best portable snack
6.34 Lizzie Deignan substitute?
Have you thought about doing the glorious gravel wessex gravel epic?
Someone said you were joining us for the solstice, I'm only doing the short route as I'm doing a road event in Oxford on the Sunday 🥴
See you there!
You dropped an unintentional bilingual pun in there - "We're going to be approaching Stonehenge by bike, which is pretty rad!" ("Rad" means "bike" or "wheel" in German).
Yes, I am a massive dork 😅
hahaha, actually I know that but I didn't do it intentionally

So I'm guessing that was a resounding NO. Maybe in the summer though 👍
Looked like a stohk'ed as hell ride.

Gravel in the UK is really mud from the videos I’ve seen!
only at this time of year!
Too bad you can’t get stoned at Stonehenge! I’d find a way 😂🎄
Nice route, mini edam cheeses are best 😂
Babybels!
Try the Cairngorms.....and you'll find some of the best in the UK😂
lolly sticks !
Juliet you guys don't have stickers do you? In that ride you just did, did you get any flats? If you say no i will cry in front of everybody....
M o r n i n g !
Sad to see how quickly you all passes the horse while on a Bridle path ?!
we slowed right down, I think the wide angle lens doesn't give you a fair view of the true speed. I absolutely ALWAYS slow down for horses
Why do I keep thinking of Spinal Tap?
Same!!!

love you
Mud, wonderful fun and wonderfully awful all at the same time! Pizza makes it worth it. 👍
So true!
Just English style mud!
You won’t get past Stonehenge on the summer solstice because they will close off the byways
Ride is definitely going ahead!
If we can run on closed roads into Paris with 400 in the group we'll have them open for us
@@anthonylovell2271 Police usually close them to stop the travellers over the solstice & there is normally a big police presence
I never understood why cyclists dont use mudguards
some do. But when riding in all this mud you'd probably find it stops your wheel turning

There always used to be a mad old lady driving a tractor at Springbottom Farm, that would try and run us off the tracks
