  • Everyone knows Italy has a reputation for good food. But do you know about the traditions of home cooking, of the importance of cooking for life and love, with passion and with family?
    We visited Casa Artusi in Emilia Romagna, the home of Pellegrino Artusi, the famous chronicler of Italian home cooking to learn more about the man, his famous book (Science in the Kitchen and the Art of Eating Well) and to get our hands clean and dirty cooking piadina, the famous flat bread of Emilia Romagna - with the help of the Association of Mariettes of Forlimpopoli.
    So how, did we get on? Watch and see. The lessons are as much about life as about food or eating. And the Mariettes a delight to work with. The bread tasted pretty good too.
