So Ula is the expert in backing the boat, I'm the family expert in backing trailers and campers up (thanks Dad!). What a beautiful trip! Bradford on Avon is now on our travel list for our England trip sometime in the future.
Oh it is so worth it lovely!! Such a gorgeous little town and it is right next to Bath which is also such a great place to visit xxx
For future reference as you enter the outskirts of B-O-A there is a pub on the Trowbridge side of town. Shortly after, going towards B-O-A there is a signpost to a trading estate (half a mile away). In that estate is a sizable Sainsbury's.

I nearly snorted my tea when I saw you getting Yorkshire red as I'd just added Yorkshire gold to my grocery order when you mentioned needing tea bags. I remembered that I was running low on tea bags, too. Fortunately my groceries are delivered to my door so I don't have to drive to the store and haul everything home. Currently I'm sitting here drinking Kalami Assam from Ahmad Tea Co. I do so enjoy your adventures on the canal. The Shanty singing was a delightful way to end a day.

Ah that's our boat! The "Bear Necessities" We're a family of 7 and our surname is Conybear hence the play on the name. One of my sons did the design and we had it printed locally 😀

that's the one thing about arriving- you always want to moor in the first spot in case everywhere further on is full! We have walkie talkies- moor up, crew goes for a wander and calls the boat through if there's a better spot- but in autumn /winter it's not a worry. good to see you in Bradford!

Heres a good laugh. I was visiting my aunt who has very friendly cows. I reached down to pick some greens for treat and as quick I picked my aunt said "NO" yup I grabbed stinging nettle! Oh my gosh my shock and yes it STINGS!!! I washed and soaked in alcohol.

Great Vvlogs guys... hey Ula just a thought if you miss gardening, why not grow some vegetables in pots on top of the narrowboat, I see that quite a few narrow-boaters do- do this....omg no tea bags..... that's just not good....well that singing was awesome merry christmas guys and a great happy new year. from Adelaide Australia, we just did our xmas day.... but a 15 degrees and rainy day, apparently first time in 20 years we had this cold windy weather here in Adelaide...
