I bought an awl to be ready for book binding and it is a great tool to have in your sewing area. If you want to sew some leather to mend anything it is priceless for poking holes and then your needle just slips through. 🇨🇦
Made a needle book yesterday following your tutorial. It turned out great! Thank you for the step by step instructions. I didn't have a sheet of sticky paper so I used several strips of doubled-sided carpet tape! I just put one strip next to the other until the fabric was completely covered. I'm looking for a way of keeping it closed, perhaps with some sort of fancy elastic or a binder clip? Or I could sew a little pouch for it!
Really like how you laid out the piece to show us the dimensions, very clever and good for people that learn better with visuals.
I am totally a visual learner haha!
Well thought out presentation. Great seeing the dimensions on the pieces. Thank you
Thanks for sharing, I know it is a labour of love. I am going to make one. 🇨🇦

즐겁게 봤어요
저도 꼭 만들어보고 싶네요😊
😊Thank you for share your gifts.
What do you do if you want more pages in the little book?
I like the small projects. I wish you would do other quick projects
I love this
You can run a pin down middle and it would score paper then it would open up middle to be easily cut
I modified this process a tad, where I did all the stitching just on the cardboard before I even stuck it on. Make a cleaner product to sell. 🇨🇦
Hi there! Super late to the game 😅 but would you mind elaborating on your modification? It sounds like a great tip!
Thanks so much in advance! 💕
Use a seam ripper to remove the spine piece instead of scissors, cleaner easier to do.
