Hi Dave, hope you're still answering comments here! I notice File History only backs up whats in the user account on C:\Users... What if I've got important files spread across multiple drives? Can I simply click "add a folder" in the backup options menu and add the other drives? Or am I going to have to manually back up the other drives?
Also, if I add the Program Files and Program Files x86 folders in this way, as well as the Windows folder etc., from my C drive... will I be able to restore all of these, or even just boot from the backup drive in the event of an issue with the PC? Could I even just remove all the folders that are selected there by default, and simply add my four internal drives as four folders to back up using File History, including the C drive in its entirety??

Thank you so much Dave for such a clear explanation . Yours is the clearest video of them all! I find backing up so difficult and confusing and I always forget how to do it.... I just lost 4 years of photos and videos as my hard drive broke completely just recently and i forgot to save all my photos.....trying not to think about it. But now I have it ALL written down so i will print it out and follow it every time. ( The only thing I was surprised about was that you have to copy and paste all your files into the cloud folder - I though that it picked it all up automatically or by confirmation.) Anyway, thanks you're a star!x

There is nothing more important, in a vulnerable moment like this than protecting our data with adequate and cutting-edge systems, which know how to evolve as hacker attacks evolve! It is essential for companies to get culture on this aspect that should not be underestimated and consider backup a fundamental tool to be used every day, also because the costs to be faced after an attack are really onerous!
