does the small backpack have the same belt buckle as the big one?

Hi @vlasenkophotographer - The smaller VEO Select 37BRM does not include a waist strap as it's designed for a smaller, lighter kit.

Hi there, thanks for the review. Does a bottle fit in the side pocket?

      Hi Sonia
Due to the dual side access design, these bags don't have a pocket for a water bottle. You may be able to put one in the space for the tripod foot, but it is likely to wobble around, or the top daypack compartment. If the ability to fit a bottle in a side pocket is important and you like this style, then you may wish to consider the VEO Select 45BFM or the larger VEO Select 48BF.

Hi, what is the difference between the veo-select-45bfm and veo-select-46br?
Also, what backpack would you recommend for an Iphone rig consisting of cage, handles, lenses and filters?
I would ideally love to have the bottom handles mounted at all times ua-cam.com/video/nKi0TcwTH3A/v-deo.html

      Hi L
The VEO Select 45BFM and VEO Select 46BR are pretty similar in function. I would sum up the differences as:
      - Appearance (which is personal taste)
      - 45BFM is a little better padded and so slightly "chunkier", making it a fraction heavier
      - 46BR is a couple of cm deeper at 15cm deep, which is useful for cameras, but not iphones
      - 46BR will take a 13" laptop, 45BFM a 10-11" tablet
      - 45BFM is front access and the 46BR is rear access
As a result, if it was for a traditional DSLR camera, I would recommend 46BR (or 48BF), and if for a smaller mirrorless camera the 45BFM (or 37BRM).
I'm not familiar with the Beastgrip for the iphone, especially with the handles on, so difficult to be 100% sure which to recommend. Lenses shouldn't be an issue as small, but the cage and grips are another matter.
Looking at the Beastcage for iPhone 12 Pro Max on their website, the cage without handles is approx. 18x10x2cm, and they don't seem to specify a length or depth on the Action Handle or Nato Rail.
My suggestion would be that you measure the dimensions of the cage configuration that you want to fit into the backpack, and then compare to the internal dimensions on the website. All the dividers are removable and can be customised, so this will give you the maximum space available.
Maximum depth is unlikely to be an issue here, so we suggest you focus on backpacks with "M" in the title (eg. 45BFM) as these tend to be designed for mirrorless/smaller DSLR which don't need to be as deep as traditional DSLR and tend to range from 11-13cm deep.
Maximum width and maximum length with the handles on may be a little more challenging, as the cage without handles is already 18cm long. For example, if the handles add 20cm, then you're looking for a bag with internal compartment that is at least 38cm long.
As highlighted, with huge caveats and unless you need a laptop, I feel the the VEO Select 45BFM is more likely to be suitable. It can fit kit up to 43cm long, 13cm deep and 27cm wide.
However, I'd also suggest you consider the VEO Select 43RB which is a very different design, but tall and slim and can fit kit up to 42cm long, 12.5cm deep and 23cm wide.
We hope this helps, but once you have the dimensions of the rig, please let us know and we will see if we can suggest any other models, but please note we don't check these comments every day so please be patient.
Alternatively, take your kit into a nearby store and they can help you fit it, and play with the models in-stock
      Hope that helps
      Ian at Vanguard
