I'm still recovering from watching everything from XG yesterday. I'm still in awe of their talent and stage presence. The girls beyond ate and left no crumbs yesterday. They devoured HITC NY. The crowd was SO loud for XG it was crazy. There are some really good clips out there that show how loud the crowd really was. Hearing 15,000K+ people sing Left Right was seriously goosebumps. And now XG has been confirmed for HITC LA!!! And Jackson will be there!!! LEFT RIGHT Remixx collab?! Something a writer for MTVnews, NME, Teen Vogue, Uproxx and CNET tweeted yesterday: "Let’s be real here. hitcfestival New York was XGOfficial_’s concert. Do not tell me otherwise. The crowd filled up to the gods. Very, very well-deserved for them. Talking to Chancellor after their set, he said once the girls got off the stage, they cried tears of joy"
I was there!!! My daughter, who "loves" Itzy and "likes" XG didn't want to go too early to stand in line Sunday to get in (we had VIP which is equivalent to GA). So I wanted to go at 9 or 10 but we compromised on 12:00. I told her that so many people would be there for XG but she didn't believe me. When we finally got in we got water and went to the bathroom then went to the floor area and we were way farther back (11 rows??) than I expected. Everyone around us was talking about XG. I looked at my daughter and said, "now do you believe me??" There was a lot of pushing and stuff going on as well, but it was worth it....❤

The problem going around is that if they make her braids ppl say that she hates it and that the company is forcing, but in their personal videos in Alphaz app I saw her making braids in herself at least twice, so for me, she likes it. Also, sometimes she dresses in a similar way of the video when she says she woke up feeling a little Hip Hop, but ppl around the internet keep saying that the stylist is cosplaying them as black woman (words from ppl in TikTok about their presentation in HITC) and that this is an appropriation. I mean, seriously? If you like the culture and you are showing your apreciation in a respectful way is this appropriation? I don't get it.
