Cradle of Filth needs to have better mixing, the vocals are super loud, and the music is way too low.

You could very well stand by your original statement and enjoy them. I think CoF's career as a band that clearly isn't black metal is actually longer now than their black metal roots. And thats completely ok.

I've heard the name Cradle of Filth before and finally gave them a listen, per a friend's demand, and I gotta say... This is some of the craziest shit I've ever heard, and I fucking love it. That first scream completely took me off guard. Like, what the fuck did I just listen to?

Cradle of Filth are actually one of the best contemporary dark-wave bands in the world. I'll never forget the first time I heard them. It changed my life. Blew my mind. I was lucky I discovered them when I did, because it was around that time that things started to go wrong for me at work. I don't know what happened, but suddenly people just weren't returning my calls. In my strategy meetings, they'd seem distracted. Distant. I couldn't put my finger on it, but something was wrong. I'll tell you, it was good to have the Filth to come home to after another disappointing day.

I love how this band always make something different, but still CoF and still fucking great... And I am in love with Dani´s voice...
My daughter is 10 years old and LOVES COF! Her dad got her into it, and we listened to it while I was pregnant with her. We were close to naming her Lilith, but ended up naming her Lyra. She loves Godspeed on the Devil’s Thunder, loves The Death of Love, and loves Nemesis. We couldn’t be more proud of her. That’s her in my profile pic with me!

I am always impressed by the amount of meticulous research COF do about Demon Mythology , the Occult and the Horror genre to put the lyrics together when creating their songs their songs . For example Harmonias necklace.
