Chewbacca and chewy sounds like a nickname while her “nickname” Becca sounds like a real name. I feel so bad for the baby.
they can name the baby in a way where it’s pronounced chewy but spelled differently so it would be a unique name and the husband basically gets what he wants

The parents are only thinking of their child’s home life but tbh that doesn’t work out that perfectly either since she’ll be called ‘becca’ with one side of her family and ‘chewy’ whit the other. Will they just call her Chewbacca during family gathering where both families are present then?

i cant belaive they agreed to name their DAUGHTER CHEWBACCA!!! I mean...at least he got a name from some universe tv show. (Guardians of the galaxy). I can already imagine her having issues about body hair when she finds out about the character.
For the Chewbacca story, just name her Becca or smthng and keep Chewbacca as a nickname.....

First one: NTA-ish, for the question stated at the end i would but would ask to see them unlock the door, and after seeing that they do live next to me i wouldn't be that weirded out, but still ask why there jogging at 4 in the morning and then after i knew would not be creeped out anymore, id say hi even, and say have a good day/jog. But the way it was handled was bad, idk why you didn't tell this lady why u where jogging and waiting till u snapped isn't the right way to hadle it, good come back though with the threats to call the cops.
