Angry ‘sangat’ killed a man after he allegedly attempted to commit sacrilege in the sanctum sanctorum of the Golden Temple on Saturday.
The alleged sacrilege incident occurred at 5.45 pm when Rehras path (routine evening prayer) was in progress. The man, with shorn hair, all of a sudden jumped over the metal fence around the place where ‘parkash’ of Guru Granth Sahib is there.
Before he could get successful in his attempt he was nabbed by on-duty SGPC employees. According to reports, he caught hold of Sri Sahib (Kirpan, a Sikh religious symbol) and placed feet over Rumala Sahib. During the melee the Granthi Singh continued with the recitation of the ‘path’.

More than 400 attempts like this have happened over last few years in Punjab. All of the accused were handed over to police and everyone of them was declared "mentally sick" by our beloved judiciary system... We all know how this works in our country...so this is the only best way to respond.

*ਇੱਕ ਗੱਲ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ, ਬੁੱਧੀਜੀਵੀਆਂ, ਸੰਪਰਦਾਵਾ ਤੇ ਐੱਸ ਜੀ ਪੀ ਸੀ ਦੀ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਈ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ਨੇ ਧੰਨ ਧੰਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਤ ਗੁਰੂ (LIVING GURU) ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਰੁਤਵਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਵਲੋਂ 295A ਧਾਰਾ ਦੀ ਜਗਾਹ ਬੇਅਦਵੀ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਉਪਰ 302 ਜਾਂ 307 ਦਾ ਪਰਚਾ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਬਣਵਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ! ਸਿਰਫ਼ 295A ਧਾਰਾ ਹੀ ਲਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ! ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਜਲਦੀ ਜਮਾਨਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ! ਜੇਕਰ ਹਰੇਕ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਉਮਰ ਕੈਦ ਹੋਣੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਬੇਅਦਵੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੱਦ ਤੱਕ ਨੱਥ ਪੈ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ! ਆਓ ਆਪਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਉਠਾਈਏ! ਸੋਚਿਓ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ....*

There is limit of playing with to the sentiments of people and the Religion. Something was meant to be done in order to show and prove to these politically backed forces that we have patience but don't test it too much.
