Never been a big hat guy, and there was quite a good mix of sun and shade. The trail isn't that difficult, moderate at best, just consistently up. It was easier on the legs and harder on the back than anticipated! Super enjoyable though! Nice when good views don't have to be that hard to get too.
Why didn't you wear your hat earlier? Looks exhausting. Thanks for doing all the hard work. And we still get to see the end results!
