Honestly, even without her poor spending, the fact that Mahidevran expects Gülfem to simply blindly obey her rather than for them to work in partnership is further evidence of her mismanagement of the harem. She's nurturing sycophants rather than actual capable people and that's never good.
I dont understand how the law in old days work the harem must be with Sultana Hurrem his legal wife even thought the devil mahidevil gave him a first son/ prince that make no sense
I have watched everyone in these episodes and I'm watching it again but I think Islam and Muslims with treat their women like this now things will be better for them .
Can someone please explain to me why did Hurrem say those words to Hafsa in hopes they would negatively affect her? What was her objective? I couldn't interprete it and didn't understand the scene well.
Hafsa was paralyzed and unable to speak, but she could still hear and comprehend what is being said to her. Hurrem knew exposing Ibrahim's betrayal and affair would shock Hafsa, and due to her already frail state, it caused her enough stress that her heart would give out. Words are a very powerful weapon...especially when its the truth.
Tbh, she did smile at the end when she said "everything will be better soon." But when the Valide Sultana signaled her to not say it or when Hurrem saw how upset she looked her smile dropped. I'm assuming that Hurrem didn't know that Hafsa already knows about the matter, which is why her smile dropped. I think she finally took the hint lol. In fact nobody knows except for her (Valide Sultana). That's why she fell ill and got paralyzed in the first place. But in the end Hurrem did what's on her mind (as usual) and she's gonna go and tell Hatice Sultan about it.
Valide sulatana's look after Hurrem told her about ibrahim it's not a look of panic, but it's more like:"finally someone knows this" because as you know if you watched the series) valide is in this situation because of ibrahim and his affair. Now imagine that she had to stay with this secret so many months because she couldn't speak or move her hands to write ..it's heartbreaking. When she died she held in her hand the stone from Süleyman which is said it turns black when it took all the suffering away and this is exactly what happened because now valide can rest in peace knowing that hurrem knows. And I'm pretty sure she s ok with hurrem because before this incident they were starting to get along plus even she admitted that hurrem is smart and powerful.
"Because I am the sultan of the world and you are of me" BRO Suleiman was such a smoothboy

@@SaturnGrl Yes, and Hurrem was aware of that, then why would she do it? To take revenge on Hafsa and make her feel bad or is there another goal?

Hurrem sultan learned of Ibrahim's secret! No secret stays hidden in this palace forever.
