I speak for all of us when I say we are all tired of the CDL having the same 12 teams every season with no new expansion teams whatsoever. We have been begging for new teams since Vanguard and all we get are cities like Chicago, London and Paris losing their teams to relocation and fans there not getting replacements after being abandoned. 12 teams does not work for the league anymore and if we’re still at 12 for BO6, the longevity of this league is not going to last much longer. Expansion now.
They are gonna do that for the next cod, they are removing the buy in.
@@ethanstrange3650they better give us a Chicago team cause Optic abandoned us the moment covid restrictions were lifted knowing full well we haven’t had a pro cod event since BO2.
it would be nice to have more teams but like who else is available for a 4 man roster ya know, im still down for it bc champs runs will get hella mixy
dude look at majors 1 & 2. multiple teams are still full wiping mid season. Until that stops they won’t increase lol.
@@Harmonmj13 i loved the Chicago Huntsmen/Optic Chicago branding that whole team with Scump, Arcitys, Envoy, Gunless and Formal was so vibey, but lets not forget about the bts events. I was heartbroken when the Huntsmen branding and team was dissolved. It comes down to money and politics, i'm sure they wanted to stay in Chicago but they probably need to meet the Dallas Empire's list of requests at least halfway and chose Texas over Illinois. H3cz probably saw more perks with Envy then NRG going forward as well I think h3cz realised he was getting left behind in terms of growth into other esports (CDL entry fee wasn't cheap and entry into other leagues for games isn't cheap either and it isn't profitable in esports to be making money off of one game). Which my support for Optic has slowly diminished when it comes to growth outside of COD (I support any Optic teams in which they have esports teams for). But to say covid was the reason they left Chicago is just straight ignorant
Life of an Ultra fan:-
Play good all year long, and then when it's the most important tournament of the year, lose to teams which sucked all season
Like a team like OpTic can win against NY so why not Ultra
Literally guys, it's just like last year, no one talks about they sucked 3 Majors everyone will remember them if they win tomorrow
Imagine OpTic fans were depressed bcs they didn't won a trophy since Vanguard, almost 3 years
Now they won 1 Major and 1 game away from being World Champions, even they got their golden days back
When will we Toronto fans see our golden period

Man I love this optic ny matchup we had, felt more healthy passion than toxic, despite the score in grand finals, winners finals was a good show - and I think both these teams grew the most throughout the season, they certainly levelled up as we progressed.
