- SoundID Reference (formerly known as Sonarworks Reference 4) software calibrates your speakers and studio headphones, so you mix with full confidence in sound. Used and loved by over 100,000 studios worldwide and what's more - we offer a fully functional 21-day free trial! hubs.la/Q012V3c60
Working with calibrated speakers and headphones significantly speeds up your workflow - you’ll hear exactly what’s happening in your mix, will make faster mixing decisions, and will ensure your music sounds great on phones, laptops, earbuds, or wherever else it's played. Moreover, it enables you to work more efficiently over distance and across different projects - working on the same reference sound with artists, bands and other studios will ensure you all hear the same thing - meaning you will get only relevant mix notes and with that will get to the final result faster.

That's such a great introduction! Clear and understandable just like the software! Thank you guys for helping so much artists and creators (including me) across the world to achieve the projects and lifestyle they are passionate about. Bless all of you! 🙌
Thank you very much! Will share it with our teams! 🙂
Would it be possible for you to market a special double microphone to be fixed to the headphones to make a more accurate calibration at home? Equal models of headphones probably don't sound the same and presets calibrations risk giving you an illusion.
Nice!
Just got mine and after a few days I am finding I get preety bad ear fatigue as It's made my speakers sound a lot more hi range and bassier than I'm used too after the calibration. I sussed the custom target section to fine tune it a bit more, I'm just not sure this is helping me all that much over metric ab and just getting used to my monitors. I think a few more days play and I'll know if this is for me or not. I have hearing problems so I'm working with that. I find the software really good though, and easy to use. And I LOVE the car stereo mode. Super useful. In the future maybe you could add club system/ pa ones also?
Thank you for your feedback and the feature request! We'll forward this to our team for consideration!
sonarworks should release our own enternal hardwear dsp monitor calibration unit . which anyone can use external realtime monitring calibration without insert any daw plugin and linear phase latency issue . 🙏🙏
Thanks for the thoughts and requests! We guess anything is possible 🙃
is some something similar for windows 10?
Hi! SoundID Reference is also supported on Windows 10. You can try it out by starting a trial: www.sonarworks.com/soundid-reference/overview
Please added - Beyerdynamic DT 880 Edition 600 Ohm

Hi,
I will take note of the average profile request!
We haven't had a chance to calibrate this model for the average profile yet, but we will likely get to it at some point in the future (although, we cannot make any promises for when exactly).
Generally, we prioritize new additions based on the user request count, so your request definitely makes a difference! Meanwhile, if you still wish to pursue calibration on your model, this is possible with the individual headphone calibration service;
Let us know if you have additional questions!
I got the trial. Just a shrieking trebly mess. No way you can mix anything with it. No low end so you end up with a muffled mix with way too much low end-because you can't hear the low end using the software...
Hi! It doesn't sound right. We kindly ask to reach out to our support team by submitting a support request if you experience any problems at all.
man that voiceover sound is horrible.
yup
Makes me question how well this works if they allow a VO like this to be used to represent there product.
This narration sounded like it was recorded on a cheap usb mic! Blahh!
Hmm, but maybe you just needs to calibrate your headphones? 🤔😍
@@SoundIDCreators no. It sounds horrible. I do dialog editing for film on a proper post studio/stage. if I turned in something like this sounds, I'd be fired.
@@SoundIDCreators bruh you for real? thats really horrible sounding voice over ( not the performance but the recording and mixing of it) and it hurts my ears. Perhaps its you who need calibration and in your ears lol
Sound ID is OK but Reference 4 is much better i wonder what happened to them?
Hi, thanks for your comment! Would you mind elaborating a bit more on your experience with SoundID Reference so far? There have been quite a few new features added (see here: www.sonarworks.com/support/soundid-reference/360003040080-using-soundid-reference/360005418959-faq/360020063900-whats-new-in-soundid-reference) and of course we're working on further improvements. We appreciate the feedback!
Bad video, it might also be a good software but it doesn’t say how effectively works of what system it’s using to achieve the goal of a good mixing, it’s just trying to convince you to buy it because you need it… I’d prefer a short guide showing me how can I really read those graphics
