ALWAYS hit the stop button in between functions on a mechanical (non-"soft touch"/logic controlled) deck. Not doing so is really hard on the deck and it also may mangle your tape.
That's one's obviously DC biasssss. You can always tell by the ssssssibilance....lol
Keep up the good work. Love your videos.
Now that's a very nice little cassette player.I usually use vintage ones, but I'm tempted to get this one after watching the review. Thankyou
Now that you have a boom box, you're officially a true BOOMER! 😃
Indeed!
Now you said that you're a millennial
He is generation x right?
He’s too young to be a boomer. Maybe generation x
This is cool. I might actually pick one of these up. Thanks for reviewing.
nice little unit, nothing earth shattering but does the basic job as a compact little deck.
What a nice little tape player... I may pick one of these up... will be perfect to play my Harry Potter books on tape on...
Hey Mr. Record-ology Dude Man! Just saying, hey! Keep those videos a coming!
nice little unit..i wonder how these kind of things sell nowadays,,,,ie is there the demand for people out there wanting a portable tape payer...certainly for me,that would be a yes vote....great video as ever..cheers..ade
Hey. Entertaining videos and I love the cassette culture. Bit of advice. On a cassette deck with those type of controls you must push stop from rewind or ff before pushing play or vice versa. That wow and flutters probably because of all the loose tape that's spooling from the sudden button change. Either that or it runs the risk of chewing up the tape. Give it a try. Cheers.
I agree. I had that same experience back in the 80s with boombox tape recorders/players. The very first bit of tape that spun when you pushed play, always went a bit fast, because the tape either wasn't rewound or fast forwarded completely, or it came loose over time between plays. Either way, it always spun fast before settling into the proper playback speed.

Damn i want one so bad.
Old school everything is coming back I love it. Album. Are already back now cassettes are coming back. I still have just about all of my old school cosettes cameo Billy ocean Bobby Brown temptations. Earth wind and fire And that's just half of the list. I said one day all this stuff is going to come back because the eighties and nineties were the great years.
will this record external audio?
Hey friend! Can you record music from a usb memory straight to the cassette?, I mean, don't recording the ambient sound
I have a question, does the deck have a port for an aux cord? For recording directly from a phone or computer? Can the headphone port be used for this? I’m a beginner when it comes to making cassettes and I’m looking for an all around unit that would be good for playing and recording music so it would mean a lot if you could help me out here!
I wish it did but unfortunately - no.
what's that tape? it sounds pretty good :0
That is the Glenn Miller Army Air Force band!
Question - does it record from any of the inputs (wether aux, FM/AM radio)?
Yes I believe it does.....
How do you record from your phone or laptop onto a cassette using this?
I would connect via Bluetooth and then the tape should record that input.
I dont know where else to go for this issue but the record button wont push down on mine and im scared tk force it down cause it really doesnt feel right. Does anyone else have this issue?
Could i use this to create mi own cassettes with the MP3 files?
Yes indeed.....
How you do that? With usb port or something?
Sir how much in indian rupees value ,this product price
Where are you belong bro.... which country
Defiantly can tell it's the non electro magnet erase head.
Biggest issue is the DC bias recording.
I do have a question though, I'm waiting for you to destroy another turntable with your vehicle! Just go to one of these thrift shops that you go to and find some old piece of junk. Maybe like a $2 or $3 record player and smash the crap out of it! And while you're at it put on a Boxcar Willie record on the turntable platter before you start smashing the crap out of it. That'll even make it better! You don't destroy enough stuff on your Channel!
Lol I never knew I would destroy anything!
@@Recordology We all destroy things from time to time in our lives. We all know that!
Not very good. It destroyed a cassette after a few weeks. Read the reviews on amazon
