The GI Joe classified version of Shockwave is clearly based on wide scope version 2. So I added a German Shepherd figure( I got the dog figure from the Hobby lobby Mojo's German shepherd. He's alittle small. Codename: RUNT). And I head swapped for the action force tactical blue and black gas mask helmet combo head. Kit bashed GI Joe classified Wide scope. And he really looks awesome
The Comics are just as awesome with all the characters that ONLY exist in the Joe verse. Really makes for some great customs!!! 💯 Thanks for watching!!! 💯
Nice review!! A pity your figure wasn't complete. But I liked your substitute parts and loved the upgrades. About the cap, I like more the military square original cap. The only advantage of the MGR's baseball cap is the space for insignia or unit identification. If you manage to give him something different from SWAT it's a plus and a keeper for the figure. I didn't notice on your figure, but it appears that you're missing its radio too. If you have a 30th Anniversary or 50th Anniversary Cobra Shock Trooper extra you can get it's radio for Wide Scope. The submachine gun I can't figure out what it is. I suspect that is a late soviet or early Russian federation submachine gun. The attachments, the magazine and what appears to be an optic mount or weird ejection port looks suspiciously Russian. The rifle is a precision rifle for a dedicated sniper. It's a DSR Precision DSR-1 from Germany and was designed and marketed as a precision rifle for police swat units and counterterrorism units.
