Entitled Drunk Woman Blows Red Light, Drives Home & Claims Immunity From DUI!

- On October 7th, 2023, an officer in Ohio was on patrol when a black Chevy was observed running a red light at a local intersection. The officer followed the vehicle as it pulled into the driveway of a residence. The female driver exited the vehicle before the officer approached her, leading to a direct interaction. Upon speaking with the driver, the officer noted signs of intoxication, including slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol.
The driver told the officer she did not know she had ran a red light, stating she was unsure where she was coming from. Despite the officer asking the driver how much she had had to drink, she stated she had come from a friend's house, later admitting to having a shot of liquor. The driver refused to undergo Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFSTs), asserting that she was already home and the vehicle was not in operation. The officer, citing probable cause, placed the suspect under arrest for OVI.
During the arrest, the suspect was informed of her rights and the legal consequences of refusing a breath test, to which she remained uncooperative and refused to comply. The suspect refused to sign the necessary paperwork and grabbed the officer’s pen from her hands. Consequently, she was transported to jail. The female suspect was charged with Operating a Vehicle under the Influence (OVI) and Failure to Obey Traffic Control Devices.

It's really crazy when drunk drivers think tagging "home base" exempts them from a DUI.
“I’m lillerally at home” 🥃🤪🤪🤪. Drunken fool
Lol, true!
Maybe they think it's like baseball. Safe at home...yeah no
(Imagines 6yo yelling "BASE!") LMAO
probably also thought she'd pass Go and collect $200
Her calling the female officer “baby” and “boo” was disrespectful and irritating
Then she's like, "This is my life!" Ya well, noone MADE you drive drunk. Now you have to deal with the consequences lady. Everyone always thinks that they are that 1 special drunk driver that the officers should have mercy on and completely let free them from all responsibility and negative outcomes. NO. Break a law, pay the price. Simple as that.
It was the bro at the end of the sentence this is my life that would've been the deciding factor on jail. I can't stand hearing people use that word especially girls calling other girls bro it's like nails down a chalkboard

Trying to reason with a drunk is like trying to blow out a light bulb.
That was good 😅😂😅😂
Now that’s an excellent analogy!
It is a perfect analogy but I actually have done that once. At a guess, the sudden gust of cool air against the hot bulb caused it to crack and burn out.
I knew someone with breath so bad they actually blew out a light bulb.😂
Did you try hitting it?
I love when the person being arrested is still talking and the officer slams the door in their face 😂😂😂😂
Ragical would be proud of that slam.
Me too, its a classic 😂😂
Same 😂😂😂
Probably feels real good for the officer..
Lol
I absolutely love that female officer - just the right mix of compassion and assertiveness!
She lost her temper and started being triumphant and gloating. Not the most professional behaviour.
It kind of turned me on TBH.
@@gilessteve She was more patient than I could have been, gave this plastered lady every chance in the world, and the idiot driver still wouldn't take the home pass.
@@gilessteveYeah, I agree, I don’t think much of any officer who decides to arrest based on whether a drunk is appropriately respectful. She could have stated plainly why she was in trouble, yeah, even if she had done it already. But this chick kept calling it OVI like everyone knows what that means even sober. She was way too into being a cop.
I robbed a bank once, made it all the way home, and unbelievably, the cops showed up at my door and had the nerve to arrest me. I’m just so baffled by that.
You forgot to yell "Not It!" when you stepped over the threshold.

Noooooooo,what's up? Another comment.i can't stop. Wuahhhhh😢
Well, there are some countries where that actually works, but the US isn't one of them
I love this female officer. She is putting up with no crap from this drunk. She is a positive example of a good police officer.
Wow! In her 30:s, living at home, driving mom's car, calling mom when she gets in trouble. Real upstanding citizen of her community. Mom must be so proud.
Says it all. 😂
I'd be embarrassed! She's not smart enough to be embarrassed though!
Living with Mommy in her 30's, driving Mommy's car, calling Mommy to come save her, not real smart.
The problem is right there, her parents. Allowing an able-bodied adult child to live at home, drive your car, and go out partying is obscene.
Another strong independent modern woman.
The smug look on that woman's face when she says "I'm home and out of my vehicle" was pretty priceless since I knew what was next and she clearly didn't.
Yes, her look at 2:29 pinned the smugometer.
I've driven across town pissed as a fart, but I made it home without hitting anyone or anything so it doesn't count 😊
"GIMME THE FUCKIN' PEN" was the most cathartic thing i've heard in while, i'm so glad she gave up
About time, right?!
Music to my ears.
I have a feeling that her cluelessness isn’t just when she’s drunk.
Love this no nonsense cop
I agree, that's exactly why it freaks me out knowing she can reproduce.🤪
No nonsense? @@jodiforeman3314 If she gave her one chance she gave her ten. She would have been given three if it was me. Complete and utter waste of time, these people.
Yep, might be the reason she lives with mom.
In her 30's, living with mommy and daddy. She's clearly an adult child, but on some level, her parents created that, and are obviously still contributing to her inability to be an adult.
Thank you officer for standing up to her parents. They’re the reason she’s like she is, she takes no responsibility for her actions. 😊😊😊😊
Exactly!
She forgot to yell "Ollie Ollie oxen free" as soon she pulled in the driveway.
😂
😂
It’s pitiful and disgraceful how many adults have to call mommy or daddy when they get themselves into trouble.
They are immature kids that never grew up. The USA is full of them.
That's the way they brought these infants up and they like it that way. Disgraceful is right.
I’d be more worried about what my parents would do if I ever did something that stupid. 😆🤣
My parents held my siblings and I accountable for our actions whenever it was necessary when we were growing up.
@@tammylaronde8593Same. My parents are the LAST people I’d call. We were raised properly. Too many of these kids were CLEARLY not parented right. Disrespect for authority, entitlement and zero accountability.
especially in these times. Even the fact that ppl do not take responsibility when they fuck up
The fact that she’s in her mid 30’s still living at home , her mom is letting her drive her car trashed and that both of her parents are begging the officers not to take her to jail tells me exactly why she acts the way she does. Her parents need to stop coddling and enabling her and let her finally learn that there’s consequences for her actions
They also need to stop abusing her
@@eternitisRequiemwho is abusing her?
Yep. No matter how you slice it, it's enabling. Mom & dad are usually weekend drunks themselves but do it at home, have been since the 8th grade, and see nothing wrong with what their kid is doing as long as they don't crash. She's mid-30s and she looks upper-40s, being a drunk isn't doing her any good. The ONLY thing the parents did right was to stop approaching when the cops told them to. Family members usually come over and soft-intervene.
She’s mid 30s??? 😮 I’m 50. I’m never drinking again.
Lies. I know me. But still.
@@yvonnemagallanez6805Idk for sure how old she is, that was just a guess lol. I just know she’s too damn old to be living with her parents still
Act like a Child, get treated like one.
The officer had a lot more patience with that drunk than I would have.
This woman is ridiculous. She needs to go to jail immediately. She needs to face consequences for driving drunk without fail.
Female cop falls over backwards WAY TOO LONG. The begging and boot l!cking is discussing.
She absolutely acted the fool, refused to cooperate, and 100% earned a ride to jail.
For the officers safety, they need to stop letting suspects make frantic phone calls because they don't know what lunatic will be showing up on the scene.
I agree. It is dangerous for the arrested person to be calling "back up".
@@truffles2721Everyone thinks that they have a right to their phone. Look at how often people cry about how they need their phone when they get pulled over!
Absolutely. Not sure why they tolerate that.
Good point.
It should be SOP that if a suspect tries to use their phone during a stop, the phone should be removed from their possession.
This female police officer has my utmost respect. She didn't waste any time with that drunk woman. Congratulations!!!
Female police officer is a pig for placing her under arrest and saying "you have the right to remain silent".
What the hell are you talking about? She wasted A LOT of time. She should have gotten to the "Forget it. You're going to jail" point much sooner.
She gets an C for her performance and a F for the blasphemy and stupidity that spewed out of her mouth. I don't pay feeling enforcement officers I pay law enforcement officers.
@@FUGP72She allowed it to go that long so she could involve her feelings. We don't pay for how you feel.
@@kadajtribal8532Luckily nobody cares what you think.
I love this officer. She was kind, explained everything over and over again and gave her numberous chances and when the lady still didn't do the simple tasks, the officer took her to jail instead of continously coddling her and begging her to do something.
Like talking to a 5 yr old. Why, Why, Why.
If someone is too drunk (or too stupid) to sign a simple document saying they'll appear in Court, they have to go to jail. It's not even a question. What a genius.
I've been watching some similar encounters from Britain and it seems like they give them an immediate roadside breath test which (official one done at the department if they blow over). They immediately read them their rights and take them straight to jail, coppers saying they won't do anything else until the suspect has sobered up a bit. Seems more logical to me, esp after watching this one where she clearly doesn't understand the consequences of refusing the test or signing.
It was more of a childish tantrum for her to do that. She just didn't want to do anything the police told her to.
I've never seen someone want to go to jail so badly. She wasn't aggressive about it but rather passively resistant. Talk about being your own worst enemy!
She was escalating on purpose. She genuinely thought she was right about being safe from charges because she was at home. She wanted this to keep getting worse. I guarantee she is attempting to find a lawyer so she can try to sue the police department. I'd love to be a fly on the wall when she finds out she has no case.
@@TheCharleseyeas is the case with everyone of these videos that the person believes they are going to sue the cop and single handedly get that officer fired with one phone call
It's always the people that repeatedly say I don't want to go to jail or I just want to go home that are the ones that try the hardest to go to jail in the end and it's always after the cop gives them dozens of chances to just STFU and walk away
seems like she was too impaired to understand the consequences of her actions.
i also think she was on a loop, arguing over and over she was home so she couldn’t be arrested. getting stuck in the loop is another thing impaired people seem to do.
how many times do you think she drove home impaired before this? maybe going to jail will be the wake up call she needed?
Let's talk about the behavior of the piggy. Drunk chicks are gonna do drunk chick stuff. That's whatever. The cop on the other hand, she is being paid by us and should be held to a much higher standard. She snapped, Luke a light switch. If that drunk woman had given her any lip, she would have a very bruised face. I would guess that cop lady has no children unless she found a way to adopt, but I would fear for her girlfriend. That is a hair trigger there, and from a relatively minor annoyance. I hope that she was playing it up for her cop bro, but I am guessing that it made him cringe pretty hard if that is the case.
Her mom begging not to take her to jail explains everything.
It really does unfortunately
Immoral family
Yup, was looking for this comment! Totally explains everything.
If that was my mother, she would've told the police "Take her to jail. She can stand to learn a lesson. If she gives you any trouble, let me know."
Regrettably that doesn't happen.
Quit coddling her and take her to jail!!!
I agree. It’s maddening to watch them let the perpetrator control the situation. Cops answering the same questions over and over and offering options is hard to watch. Tell her to get off her phone or you’ll take it! They stand by helpless like there’s an invisible shield keeping them at bay is ridiculous!
I believe that anyone pulled over should not have the right to use a cell phone. For the officers safety most of all.
She was so drunk, she couldn't keep herself out of jail no matter how hard the officer tried lol. Never have I seen a cop work that hard to keep a DUI out of jail lol.
My only concern with this is how hard the cop tried to not take her to jail, but at least the drunken bum got herself jail in the end. OVI should be automatic jail for the night for starters.
@@jjfarrell9349Especially if you commit another violation while OVI. She was driving impaired _and_ blowing through traffic lights. 😂”sanctuary!…I claim sanctuary “ does she live in a cathedral?
Not really. If you rob someone and get home without being caught, there's still a victim. But If you drive drunk, run red lights, drive the wrong way down the freeway at 100mph, yet somehow make it home, crashing through your garage door, out the back of the garage, and end up in the swimming pool, well, there are no victims so there can't be a crime. Are you joking? She should have ended this AT LEAST 5 minutes sooner and just taken her to jail. She let her get away with way too much.
The cop was not great. I don’t know what standard you’re holding up here, but she was very unprofessional. She got increasingly irritated throughout the encounter, promised to release the suspect to her mom after she drove drunk, then changed her mind because a DRUNK kept asking a question that the cop had only ever answered with a quick burst of cop jargon. Maybe the lady didn’t know what OVI meant. She indicated as much at one point. Maybe her memory wasn’t great because she was plastered!
If the cop had just answered her by spelling out that she was going to jail because she drove drunk, and the woman continued to resist, she could have informed her that she would be arrested unless she complied and THEN done so in a calm and professional manner. The only reason they had to persist in refusing to answer the question was to try and prove who was in charge. And the only reason she gave for retracting her promise to let her go was that she was rude to her.
Cops, male or female, whose bruised egos and impatience inform their actions don’t belong on the force. Police should expect to be held to a higher standard of conduct under the strain of rude behavior considering the nature of their work.
Her biggest problem is she’s an adult living at home with her parents and they’re making excuses for her bad behavior instead of telling her to deal with the consequences of her own actions like they should’ve done when she was a child

She not only made it to home base, she did it even though the cop did not close her eyes and count to 10. She was a winner.
Lol😂😂😂😂
Bro????!!! Are you kidding me? This woman is not cooperating. Take her to jail ffs.
When a cop asks you how many drinks you've had tonight, they aren't offering you a cocktail. 😅
I have never been so happy to see someone arrested 😊
I'm disgusted that the cop even thought about letting THAT get away with drunk driving and not immediately taking her to jail
She wasn't going to let her get off the drunk driving charge. She giving her the OWI citation either way. She was deciding whether to release her to her mother or taking her to jail to process her. The latter consisted of drying out in a cell and possibly having to post bail. Had she signed that paper promising to appear for court, it might have been a different story.
@clinder27 bad idea the mother can't stop her from driving drunk.
No kidding. She could just walk back out and drive again. Those parents wouldn’t stop her.
@@truffles2721 As if the mother is a responsible adult!
It never ceases to amaze me the amount of people who just seem intent on going to jail. 🤦♂️
A medal for this officer's patience
Ohhh the ol' home base excuse! Oldy but goody 😂
I LOVE this Officer! 👏👏 That woman is a typical drunk, "why, why, but why??!!!! I wish alot of Officers acted like this instead of, talking, talking. You CANNOT reason with a drunk! Thank God she didn't kill a family blowing thru a red light!
Exactly.....when my son was deep into his addiction, a sponser with AA told me one night, "don't even bother with trying to talk to him while he's drunk. It'll get nowhere and he won't remember it anyway.". Some of the best advice I was ever given.
you are so correct. You absolutely positively not reason with a drunk. And this woman was very drunk.
This cop said what we were all thinking. Nothing worse than a drunk with a nonsensical point to prove.
She’s checked out.
I hate when people can’t answer a direct question!
I know, I had a messed up dad that never drank yet argued nonsense all the time. It's so abusive and manipulative!
why is this cop arguing with her ... just arrest her!!!
Women
@@trashfire9641From watching many cop cams most of the male cops do this even worse than this officer.
@@trashfire9641 That idiotic statement!
Most cops don’t want to arrest people for minor offenses because they know that the prosecutor will just drop the charges.
@@RattiusHattus I wouldn’t call a DUI a minor offense!
Wow! The patience of that officer. So professional & kind. GJ.
Gee mom and dad, great job raising this one. What is your secret to raising such outstanding and shining examples that byou can pass along to the rest of us. Please share.
She should have been taken to jail SO early in this. And more cops need to get loud to lifelong children like this and tell them to grow up. I'd even embarrass her mother by saying "If your mother didn't teach you how to be an adult, then I will." loud enough for her mom to hear.
KUDOS to this amazing cop for not taking any of this drunk's BS!
It was a very good combination of keeping composure but being firm when warranted. Good policing.
The female officer was great. When she finally had enough you could tell she was pissed and the DUI idiot's days were over she was going to jail. Kudos to the officer.
I've only been watching this for a minute but I'm astonished at this drunk.
Did she think if the talked in circles long enough the cops were just going to give up and leave?
