The point is Alex Bent is equivalent to a 100 MEMBER ORCHESTRA of course.
Trivium has a little problem with holding on to drummers. And alex, the latest one, is superb! Loved by the fans and everyone's hoping he does not leave the band (or got disbanded).
Some bands uses (for example) orchestras for their new albums or such things to keep evolving their style.
Trivium just keeps their (actual/new) drummer. And they're doing good with this! Cause the albums getting better and better! :)

Trivium is one of the few metal bands I've liked since their inception (of the end). Somehow they've balanced trying new things without selling out. Not an easy tightrope to walk.
And upkeep on a drummer supply I'm mean they power through them this is the first they've kept a drummer for two albums in almost six years

I'm seeing some comments saying "I don't understand the hate Trivium gets." What hate? The vast majority of places you'll see praise for Trivium and that's mostly been like that for the last twelve years. I guess maybe some D-rate bands who troll other bands on Twitter hate them, but they've been slaying hard in the Metal category for years. And this takes them back to the Shogun days.

Metal elitist hate them for the quick rise from Ascendancy and then the disappointment follow up of The Crusade. After Crusade, the elitists labeled Trivium a shitty band and never gave them a second chance, even after their masterpiece album, Shogun.

And the In Waves sound definitely hits you in the face, but I don't feel Shogun is as prominent as others. A lot of this song sounds like a similar style to When All Light Dies
