I wanted to make this a Cisco tribute that focused on the more serious aspects of his character. In particular, I wanted to explore Cisco's awareness of his own mortality and how his powers have affected him on a personal level. So in a departure from my usual extremely-upbeat songs, have some angsty BAMF!Cisco ;D

Wow. I miss the very first day. When it was just sweatshirts, orange soda, red twizzlers, and poker face. The depth, and emotion, and just the general feeling of having a family that he made for himself, not biological, but maybe even more logical, just overwhelms me.
I love that Cisco is a well-rounded character, who is so much fun to watch but he is also 3-dimensional, with his own struggles and triumphs. Always someone to root for!
Cisco means so much to me as a character, and I have never seen a
tribute like this that really gets into the scarier side of his life,
the angst and the darkness. Honestly I've never seen a Cisco character study vid at all before, and I wasn't searching them out exactly but still, I think he's extremely undervidded and it's special and really great to see this. I’m so happy you made this. ;) I love how this captures every side of him too though, it has some sweetness and fun and smiles as well.
I love the effects you added, the blue watermark, your vidding was impressive as hell from your very first vid you posted but I do think it's getting even more impressive. The coloring on the whole thing matches the mood so well, and the creative way you picked scenes to fit each lyrics in this song really shines.
I really love the "lot of nights on the run" match, and then poor Cisco in the next scene feeling like he's "lost and can't be found". There's just so much to unpack upon rewatches of it. Keep up the epic work!

That "lost and can't be found" was originally matched to "I don't want to let you down," since the context is that Cisco feels like he's let Barry down by giving away his identity to Snart (Cisco's 'ooops I accidentally released Pied Piper scene was actually much shorter than I remembered and did not have as much viddable material, and it was the other scene I'd considered for the match) - what is now "I don't want to let you down" was originally matched to "been waiting for my day to come." I lot of shuffling around going on; I was so spoiled for choice making this vid, and a lot did not make it into the final cut.
One of my favorite matches is actually the "spirits" segment at 1:54, it was one of the first I did. And it originally wasn't paired with other Harrison clips, but in the end I think it helped to have a bit more structure to things. Anyway, what I like about it is that it looks back nostalgically at the good memories he has of Wells, and the whole black-and-white movie thing + "in my head" makes me think of The Counting Crows: "if dreams are like movies then memories are films about ghosts"
I'm glad it has just the right touch of sweetness fun and smiles. Some of what didn't make the cut was deemed too comedic to fit the rest of the vid - that while they were great Cisco moments, they weren't the moments I needed. Like one of the first versions of "a lot of nights on the run" had Harry, Cisco, and Barry running from Zoom down the hallway of STAR Labs on Earth-2, and they bounce off the wall a little bit. It matched the beat to well, too, but I think the one used works a lot better, and segues into "lost" really well

Yeah trying to balance the right mood definitely sounds like it'd be tricky. I need to look up/listen to "Mrs. Potter's Lullaby" now since I don't know that Counting Crows song too well... :P
I don't think that Carlos Valdes will ever know how much he affects us as fangirls and fanboys. He is a amazing actor. The character is amazing, and (for once), the joyful sidekick, isn't really... well... a 'sidekick'. His love and envy for his brother shown in rouge time just... i can't find words. He is a beautiful character that I can really just understand.

I had the same reaction the first time I heard this song on the radio; I thought to myself, "This song is Cisco. This is absolutely Cisco. I must make a vid." :D

Wow, I love this. Cisco is such an underappreciated character, and I think the writers sell him short a little bit. The song was perfect- it sounds upbeat but it's actually pretty dark and deep. Do you know which episode 0:45 is from? I can't remember for the life of me.

I don’t like Cisco in the flash, simply because on how he’s portrayed, like this video shows a side where’s he’s scared of his powers more than the shows geeky side as a focus, I wish to see this more on the flash
