Greetings all and welcome back to another videos that's ended up as Abandonware. Which is just unfinished videos that were sitting in my archive that I've decided to edit and release. I edited this over the last few weeks and thought some of you may enjoy this. It's part show and tell and some testing. Not a "Job Lot" but close enough. same, these job lots are basically legit what i listen to in my free time because they are good vids but also good audio only podcasts too, feels like a friend is really there discussing phones with you.
34:27 I have that phone. It’s the CECT P168. The one you have is the IFone P168C, a later version. In order to power on the phone, you would need to press the call end key, not the button on the side. The button on the side is the camera button. 42:58 That phone is the same phone ashens reviewed but slightly different. I also have this phone. The manufacturer made so many different variants of it. The F8 is a fake iPhone 4 and the I5 TV is supposed to be a fake iPhone 5. The reason why the I5 TV does not look like a iPhone 5 and instead looks like a 3G is because originally in 2011 there were leaks and rumors claiming that the iPhone 5 would look like a 3G+4 combined. So knockoff manufacturers made it early before the actual iPhone 5 launched.
Don't know if I'm tripping lol. But at the 30mins mark you looked at a qwerty nokia, is that an actual 3310 or 3330 hiding inside as part of its housing? It literally looks like the housing to a 3310 jammed inside a qwerty like adapter thing. Would definitely love to see a review and teardown. Great video mate 👍
Some of these older devices are still awesome. I got a Nexus 7 (2013) from eBay for $10 if you can believe it, but the display is very impressive, and when I flashed Nethunter to it, the Nexus 7 is snappier than I thought it would be for its age and available ram.
1:03:40 You probably already know this, but if you dont, and if you have a samsung L760, you can use the battery from one of those to power a phone on when the contacts are not in the same order as BL5C contacts.
1:16:23 - It is definitely a battery bulge. I had Huawei P8 lite and battery got bulged after a year of use. but that phone had a great design though, that purplish blue and it was acctually really comfortable because it was slim and had a great display for its size. Only problem was the 16G internal memory that got filled almost immidiately
That D&G V3i was probably in the middle of being flashed when it died that's the only thing I can think of, might be worth trying to flash it again though.
i love those job lot because they are so chill and funny to watch, i love the lg one and the motorola as well. boi i was so sad for the note 4 they were such amazing phones :)
fun fact about the s3 neo (wich was also my first phone), that phone was apparently released during the s4 period and it's supposed to be a some sort of s4 lite/ fan edition. it has the s4 software (including boot sound) but with the skin of the s3
If you are Lucky enough U will find a Vivo X5 Max from E- waste or something.. I'm saying that because it is the world's thinnest smartphone just 4.8MM thickness( iphone is 7.8mm) and it have some great specs.. But the problem is it's old it was released in 2014..i can't even find one anywhere... So i hope it Worth a review video for u if u find one.. Hope u I'll read this comment

Some Samsung phones charge only with specific original micro usb cables i think . Idk why . I got 3 samsung phones one regular s4 that charges only with original micro usb cable and charger from samsung and with original htc cable and charger as well while the other s4 i906 charges with any cable no problem . Note 3 is the same,charges only with specific cables and chargers .
I'm not telling you to give me a phone, but if you could, that would be nice just so I can have something to tinker with thx also if you read this have a nice day
The Pixel can still be used to make unlimited photo backups to google photos. That feature still works, even with photos not taken on the phone itsself. Also with the Note 4's you can try to put a small piece of cardboard on the emmc and really tighten it down - essentially pressing the emmc onto the motherboard. I got one of my broken emmc Note 4s working for a year now with that method. But its just sad that at this time the QC was so lacking. Another trick I can tell you is with phones that have weak battery that sometimes helps is to completely drain the phone so it shuts off, doing it on and waiting to shut down a couple times more, then booting into the recovery and leaving it there until it shuts off in the recovery. Then charge while still in the recovery. This has worked for me on a couple of phones that turn off at like 40% and charge suspiciously fast.
I just started collecting phones for now im focusing on the first 10 gens of samsung S and note (WITH THE BOX) and boi it was a journey for sure finding the galaxy S and note 1 box is like finding a needle in a haystack but i managed to find one in mint condition for just 5$ and the phone 5$
