This originally aired on the "Tom Snyder Show" in 1981, just before the "Physical" single and album were released. I remember because when she sang the part, "If I can only make one man aware, one person care, then I'll have done what I promised you...," her voice cracked and she couldn't hold the note. I was positive she was supposed to hold the note. When the single came out, I played "The Dolphin Song" on Side-B and, sure enough, in the recorded version, she held the note beautifully. One of Olivia's assets is that she never lets it show on her face when she screws up lyrics or hits bad notes. If she believes that most people wouldn't notice her mistakes, she's right.
