My favorites: Tactical MK16 - Medium, Long Range, SOCOM MK16 - Medium, Long Range, FAL, Long Range Precision, I also love the TKB-408 for Short, Medium Range. However, I use a shotgun like the KSG for close encounters
For me, I like the Carbine 7 as my main AR in the game..I can't really control the initial recoil of most guns, it put so much pressure on thumb and I had to micro adjust all time, the Carbine 7 is more forgivable for me .
Depends on you. Personally carbine7 M4 ans fal for me. I run measured on carbine7 and m4 don't sleep on f2000 and shield splinterer measured famas fire up close as well
Yup, my buddy loves the mk16. People see the low DPS of these guns and think they’re bad. Meanwhile they hit like 25% of their shots with the Kingbreaker
Ken Lee I think it would be kinda dishonest for me to make a rifle video as I never use them. I’d only be able to compare numbers, but anybody can do that. I’m looking into potentially doing a tier list for SMGs, but I don’t have a solid idea yet
this game does guns cheap. the re-calibration station's functionality needs expanded. we should be able to custom tailor a weapon platform to suit our needs, completely. because gunsmiths are a real thing.
Good video. I agree with pretty much everything, especially how balanced the weapons are. The lack of mod slot on some weapons and some weapons being unable to roll an attribute balances the field even more. The only thing I didn't agree with were the sustained damage figures. In my mind, sustained damage = (burst dps x number of secs mag will last) / (number of seconds mag lasts + reload speed). I can't work out how you got your figures.
First 1/3 of the game I used Glory Daze. Easy to handle, decent damage, accurate. Just easy to use. After using others I settled on Honey Badger. I'm level 3000 and still use Honey Badger with Killer.
They're all fine but the Rail Splitter remains king with its handling and accuracy. Other weapons are fine with their damage but if you're on console, you struggle with staying on target. The Rail Splitter is nearly laser accurate. Kind of like the L86 in the first division before update 1.4! The Honey Badger with Optimist is good secondary.
Have you ever compared the railsplitter to a normal CTAR? CTAR is already plenty accurate, and I didn't see any difference in my accuracy stats running the railsplitter. It would be nice if the railsplitter was an SMG with really poor accuracy, but it's pretty much worthless as a CTAR. Optimist is garbage tier weapon talent.
I use Honey Badger with Killer. Couple critical hits and then you mow enemies down. I need to try and use optimist for a hundred levels and see how it feels.
@@aBL1NDnoob what? You had the word “Capacitor” onscreen when you were showing the recoil line for the Capacitor. I was simply adding that it has one of the best groupings of any AR in the game. Shame it has such a small mag.
Hello Noob. The idea behind this video is great and will be very helpful to many Division 2 agents. However, I would like to go over your Sustained DPS numbers with you before your next video on SMGs. As always, your videos are well produced and entertaining.
Calculating sustained DPS is a bit longer of an equation, and to be honest, I’m not a huge fan of it. While it can calculate your maximum potential damage output over time, there are so many variables that can’t be calculated. For example, fast hands is one of the best ways to increase your sustained damage. But that’s assuming you are dumping a mag, reloading then immediately dumping another mag, etc. this doesn’t take enemy aggro into consideration. We often can only fire half a mag or even just a few rounds before we need to go back into cover (talking about PvE). During this time, while waiting for enemies to cease fire, most people would reload, even though we haven’t emptied the mag. I’m this case, burst damage would be more effective. On the other hand, if you have a tank drawing all the aggro, sustained damage would be more relevant. Situations like these is why I don’t spend much time worrying about sustained damage even when I’m playing PvE
I'm thinking about this game on my Xbox One but I need help. From looking at this video, I'm not seeing any semi-auto (AR-15 ish) like rifles, can anyone give me a list of AR that good for both mid and long range that have good to Great power where it shoots like pop....pop....pop .... pop. And can put a handle grip at the front of the AR.
I stuck with the shield splinter for open world & dz for a time. I may try using the Aug or Ac variants to shake things up. I have one rolled well. Just need to test
I don’t think SMGs are as balanced. You only have a few viable options. Mpx if you want a bit of extra range, vector for high burst damage and lady death if you wanna kill anything and everything
Strained is very good for the m4, but if you don’t mind using the tactician specialization, it’s worth it to put on the laser pointer that pulses enemies you aim at and switch to flatline as your talent
J R I’ve done tests and compared to optimist, strained is better on all ARs and SMGs aside from the vectors. This is assuming you are mag dumping and 60% crit chance. Of course, flatline is still much better, but strained is certainly viable on the m4 if you’re not using tactician
@@aBL1NDnoob This has already been tested and verified for years across so many damage tests from multiple sources. Can find like 20+ spreadsheets on this exact topic and the consensus everyone comes to is that strained is only worth using when you are at 750 rpm or below.
