311 has been one of my favorite bands for close to 20 years now. I'm getting in my time machine to go back and see this amazing set in person. What a great idea. 311 rocks!!!
EXCEPTIONAL!! Never thought I'd hear them play these songs live, let alone so many years after they were created, AND with a recreation of the the Hexum basement! ^_^
Nice job on the audio mix! I've watched dozens of times even though I saw it live, I was in too much disbelief and awe of them playing these tunes and couldn't remember it well...thanks much for reposting with improved mix so I can relive the best 311 experience ever!
You see those early shows and hear those early songs from the like a of311, Deftones, The Urge, Incubus, etc….and they borrowed from so many different styles and bands. Those early to mid 90’s days my mind was constantly blown as to how much good music and styles and influences were coming out of my boombox.
Hey man I didn't see this was an official 311 video... thank you SO MUCH for this upload. It is thanksgiving 2019 and I am reliving my teenage years :)
thank you so much. Im an newbie when it comes to mastering audio. I tired my best and I do believe it sounds way better than the official stream's audio sounded. I'm glad you appreciate it, it took me almost 4 hours to make this.
SA wearing a 311 shirt. God I wish I was there. You know... I'm a 42 year old man, ruined by years of smoking, drinking... I won't last much longer. I gotta see these guys live, it would be my dying wish. Please come to Knoxville.
Really cool to see them play these way old songs but they were all before SA was in the band so all he could do was stand there and play the tambourine.
P-Nut's terrible Ibanez is awesome here... We all had to start one something like that, and some of us STILL can't afford an $8,000 Warwick. But he still plays that thing like a boss :)
And he carries that thing on all shows since then..the Ibanez TR. Yep, I too started with a $200 Korean Ibanez...and yes still can't afford a Germany Warwick. :D:D
This is a band that is insanely good to its fans. Wow.
It's why we love them. I've met a few hundred of my best friends for life all across the country from following them around ❤💛💚
311 has been one of my favorite bands for close to 20 years now. I'm getting in my time machine to go back and see this amazing set in person. What a great idea. 311 rocks!!!
...and I’m officially old now. I’ve always wondered what they sounded like before ‘Music.’
EXCEPTIONAL!! Never thought I'd hear them play these songs live, let alone so many years after they were created, AND with a recreation of the the Hexum basement! ^_^
So stoked for that cruise! I remember buying the bootleg VHS from this Era of 311. Grassroots still one of my favorite all time albums
Just played grassroots end to end last week. Such a great album!
yeah grassroots is definitely my favorite album of their's... up in my top 5 of all time out of any bands.
Nick's vocals sure have gotten much solid over the years, although I kinda miss his "beast mode" from back in the day.
Like on Plain - “I’m a tempest! And I rarely rest but that’s what cha gotta do if you wanna be the best!” Beast mode on Music; now he “sings” it
This is fucking great. Tim on the Strat, P-Nut playing the Ibanez 4, Chad's drums...
Yeah, Chad was definitely missing the usual kit, nice to see him re adjust to the basement basics lol
Is this their actual old gear?
Thanks so much bro. Those rare few of us that were there will forever be grateful. Now to see it so masterfully remastered, THANK YOU!!!
glad you enjoy!
The bridge breakdown riff in Damn is the heaviest, nastiest thing they’ve ever written.
Goosebumps every time.
Hints of Grateful Dead jam band, combining the songs like that as well as storytelling elements a' la Rush. These guys are LEGENDS
This made me feel all sorts of way. Lots of good memories
best set they ever did
Down South! Awe yeah. I was there for this. Was awesome!
P nut killin it on the ibanez lol

dude, no problem! So glad there is others to share this awesomeness with!
Chad's snare on point as always :D
P-nut playing a $200 Ibanez !! YESSSSSS !!!! Goes to show ya that,in the right hands, even a CHEAP bass can sound awesome !!!!
A cheap bass that's been professionally setup can sound that good, sure.
A decent amp doesn't hurt. It looks to be a GK Bass Amp. Great sounding amp always helps.
Ken Carter it’s an SWR Redhead.
@@DougieD_Funk nice!
@@DougieD_Funk I finally go to finish the video and see it DEFINATELY isn't a GK. Thanks for the corrected info.
Good shit. I saw them live for the first time in 1991 at the Regency in downtown Springfield Missouri. Been a huge every since.
Wish they would play Down South a lot more. Love that song!
Tim mahoney on a strat
Cool
Yep, he actually used to play with a Charvel strat, not Fender.
Very
Tim is Tim no matter what he plays.

Super nice to have it all put together the way you did. And thanks to 311 always a top fave

i was at many of those early omaha 311 shows...it was a blast
This set is godlike and anyone who saw it in person will live in infamy
I dont know if they can ever top this.
Saw it in Bethlehem PA! It was a great show
I like it when Nick is on the percussions! Gives it such a nice latin flavor.
That was an awesome blast from the past!
Awesome job mastering the audio. Thanks for doing that and sharing!
gzus20 no prob! I️m glad you enjoy!
gzus20 this real cool...
I loved it! They should record that stuff, it definitely sounds old school 311. Funky👽🤪
Wow amazing
Good job on improving the sound! Thanks for uploading! This is so amazing!!!!!
Love how p nut + bass got into costume! Unexpected, but sooo awesome!
Amazing. Really cool. Wish it was longer...
Well, that was pretty cool.
This was dope!! I was there!!
Incredible A/V quality!
Best rip thus far. Great work. Thank you!

Whaddup dj3stripes ?
I'll have to put this on a VHS tape 😂 Such an awesome sound and groove
311 brilliance!
Thank you for this, uploader 🧡
Bostaph no problem!
They totally should have had "Mrs.hexum" come down stairs to offer them soda and cookies in between songs

get out and see them! I'm on my 91st show!
91 311 shows?
@@justinnix1347 I know a guy in Oklahoma that's seen them over 200 times. I've only seen them 25 times. Only....lol
Really cool to see them play these way old songs but they were all before SA was in the band so all he could do was stand there and play the tambourine.
Not true, SA sang back-up vocals on Down South in the Studio version, but you're right about the rest.
They dressed up just like their younger day..baggy pants and suited the songs here
How can they still belt this out live and it lead Voyager!? Guess that's why 311 live shows are so damn great!!!!!!!
Lol, looked like they were having a blast. Weird seeing a Chad-to-drums ratio of about 50:50 instead of about 5:95. 😂
Dam, how I wished for this when I actively followed the band.. wow, nice
This is easily the best live set since pre-Don't Tread on Me era hands down!
I remember JMR
SA sweatin more than everyone from all that Tamborine lol
Me emociona. Good old days 😭😭
I was tripping balls by this set. I didn't think this was real. Lol
Hahahhahhahhaha
That's hilarious.
Jealous
stp and 311...my fave from the 90s...p-nut and Robert deleo ...bass just doesn't get better
I was born in 1990 in Omaha. Fated happenings.
De mis bandas preferidas, Used the Time, la mejor !!

Look second hand, you can get amazing Warwicks for around $1500
My first bass was a Ibanez TR-80.
Wish I still had that dang bass.....
Those Ibanez era guitars basses are great build quality. Very well made.
Good god this is the shit!
This is some seriously sick tight shit🤘
Hopefully in 2040 I can celebrate their 40th!!!🎉❤
damn SA's shirt is dope
Memories!!!

311's got the boom yall
Something always special on 311 day

C.U.T.M was debuted this show, they haven't played it ever in their entire 'live' career.
