Hello! Why is it that when I pick up the garment yarn stitches from the ravel cord that I always end up with eyelets and stitches that need to be latched up?
I OWN A BOND KNITTING MACHINE AND I AM IN INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE DIFFERENT STYLES, PATTERNS AND DESIGNS TO USE ON MY KNITTING MACHINE..DO YOU HAVE ANY THAT YOU CAN SHARE? THANKS BELINDA IN WICHITA FALLS,TEXAS
I don't know what happened- I took out the ravel cord and disaster. I have picked up a hem successfully but this time I did something wrong. This after completing a whole hat with decreases. I could just scream. No, I didn't scream, I put the darn thing on a knitting needle above the ribbing, got rid of the mock rib and finished ribbing by hand. I'll try again. Have to get back up on the horse when you are bucked off!
Молодчина!!!!! Браво!!!!! Вот это реально нужное и познавательное видео!!!!!
thank you for this.....I have a bond and have been making ribbing by dropping the stitches...this is much quicker ...
A folded side hem is a decent way to go. Also, I sometimes do a mitred border, see my blog dianaknits.blogspot.com.
Hi Diana,
Love your videos!
May I ask is there stitch for solid side edge like double rib but using the same machine you are using? Thanks ! xx

Hi Diana,
How do I knit with the ravel cord? Do I put it over the needle bed or do I put it into the threader?
Hi Diana. What type of yarn are you using?
It's a Brother 270 machine, a bulky, and the yarn is a group 4 worsted weight.

Knitting requires a little stubborn grit to success, and you've got what it takes!
Will this prevent rolling when making a scarf?
Katie Egloff It prevents rolling at the bottom edge. See some of my other UA-cam videos for side edge solutions.
