I hate the strap so I bought two replacement straps. One is leather from Michael Kors in the same color and a chain strap to dress it up.
I'm confused. I purchased that exact bag straight from Saint Laurent in January this year. My strap is not adjustable nor can it be made into a wristlet. When I inquired I was informed that the newer bags no longer had adjustable straps. Did something change again or is this from older stock?
Was it this color combo? They have 2 colors on their website that are not adjustable - Storm and Rouge Legion (everything else is adjustable). I reached out to YSL and they told me not all Toy LouLous have an adjustable strap (which is weird, but ok YSL). I’ve also read they’ve changed the strap over the past couple years going adjustable, non-adjustable, adjustable again…definitely makes things confusing 🤦🏻♀️
Ugh, I was afraid you were going to say that. Sorry you weren’t able to get the version/strap you wanted (and what they portray on their website…that’s bad customer experience IMO). They didn’t offer to exchange it or give you a partial credit/refund?
I purchased mine from Neimans in 2020 and had the same happen to me. It was right when they discontinued the version with the adjustable strap and middle slit but the picture on the site advertised the older strap 😭 I kept it since I felt like there wasn’t another option and am now a bit miffed that they now have the adjustable strap back. 💀 before I think the toy loulou version had the middle slip compartment and adjustable strap and the mini loulou would just have the middle compartment (no slip pocket) and non adjustable strap
