Hey Julie! Thanks for sharing your story. I too deal with traction alopecia. I've shaved my head several times but never showed my bald head. I wear wigs 90 percent of the time. You look beautiful! You have a gorgeous face, big beautiful eyes, and a bright smile. Your makeup is always on point. Its like art to me and i love it! You are definitely rocking this look!

I love a good wig believe me you will see them again, I’m just enjoying being in my own skin, it’s feels wonderful😃it’s weird now because you can see every eye movement and every vein lol. Thank you😃. It definitely takes a certain mindset to be comfortable enough to put something so private out and share with the world. I’m always real but this is me being super vulnerable and being so comfortable in my skin that it helped me more than it hindered me. Girl, you already know what's up from me, I'm totally here for your transformation, the new free you! At first I thought the look with the lips was giving summer Ursula vibes, but it grew on me as the video went on. But if the person wearing the look likes it and is wearing it with confidence, I get on board because I don't want anyone losing their joy over my opinion.
The Glamlite palette seemed to work better this time around. I'm so glad you pulled out a bunch of drugstore products, especially the Physician's Formula and the Wet n Wild. I'm still stuck in the past a little when the drugstore products weren't nearly as good as the high end, but the drugstore game has come up in recent years, so it encourages me to go back and explore them some more.
All the best in your no excuses year! I hope you will share your health and fitness progress with us, because I enjoy fitness about as much as I do beauty. You go, queen!!

I really like that palette the shades are right up my alley, bright and colorful. Drugstore makeup has definitely stepped it up look how good those wet&wild powders perform. I have so many more products I’m about to try high and low end🥰.

This is a beautiful/inspiring video. Honestly your hair never had a chance (as a fellow fine hair sista, nothing works either for me). Thank you for sharing, and btw as echoed below like others your head shape is fabulous. There are some advantages and disadvantages to doing your own hair, but the way inflation is I make sure to go to a stylist for at least once a quarter.😂😂😂
I have been to black dermatologists who were to help in my edges and dark spots but the results were abysmal at best. Your video was a pleasure to watch.
When people see bald women the first thing they think of is sickness but thank god there nor the case fully.
I’ve tried everything over the years and nothing made my hair stay it visited but quickly left😩.
I was blessed with this face and head shape.
If I couldn’t found stylist coming up that respected my time and hard earned money I would’ve been in there chair. When I’m paying you your not doing me any favors so don’t act like you are.
Right now I’m looking for a barber to give me scalp treatments to keep this bald head and scalp sexy😃.
I can tell stories about black dermatologist 🤣🤣 the story I told about the injections and hair falling out on other spots if I have the name she’s top notch in her field but no positive results.

Omg! I could feel the pain when your scalp burned from the perm!! I used to wear those same hair ties!
Braids are insane- I used to get box braids to my middle of my back with burnt ends in my teens. It took 7 hours 😅 then I got cornrows to my back. This was for 25 plus years. I had to stop as I started to get traction alopecia on my edges. Oh that Atlanta guy legit used your hair on someone else.
The foundation looked phenomenal! Sos natural looking. I really like that bronzer too! I have to do a Revolution shopping haul later in the year.

It's definitely convenient. I chopped my hair off. I'm not bald, but close enough. I was done with the perms. Went to locs. Was over that. Now it's very short. I'm not looking back.
