I've played Yoshi's Island for almost two decades, I've heard many renditions... I feel like this is the way the title screen was always meant to sound! Fantastic job.
Man, this cover had me smiling the whole way through :) Really brought me back to my childhood playing my SNES on the floor of my parents' living room... So many good memories :)
You deserve A LOT more views! They is absolutely amazing! I went and checked out your other videos and I am absolutely speechless! (In the good way!) Great job on this!
It'd be much better if you changed your thumbnail. I thought i was gonna click on the original recording, when I was actually was looking for a live version. I'm pleasantly surprised!
You never disappoint, man. Great as always! As a suggestion how about a piece from Fire Emblem? Theres a ton of great music, but one of the most popular is "Dont Speak her name" from Awakening. Maybe you can do something with that?
That was great, as usual ^^ I would like to suggest you to take a look into the Ace Attorney series ^^ They have some really cool music, like the "Cornered" theme, from "Phoenix Wright : Ace Attorney" or the "Lying Coldly" theme from "Ace Attorney Investigation"
Now this sounds more like a town/village theme, perhaps inhabited by Yoshis, than the original composition does. Ought a Mario role-playing game take notice...?
... *smile. Sigh of relief* I don't think there could be a better tribute for my dear pal Yoshi. Instrument use, backgrounds... Kamek flying by as everyone' playing... Wow. I really enjoyed this, thank you :D ...Wait a sec... *reads description* "I take videogame, film, and tv music requests! Just post it at the comments!" ... :O Darn, I forgot! Well then, what could I request... Ummm... Oh, I know! Hehe, I remember asking that already, but since you seemed into Mario/Zelda/Pokemon lately ... Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. If not a medley, then I have one theme in mind... Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness Music- Cipher Peon Battle
I love how europe's "ethnic instrument" is the recorder. "What do you have for use europe" "Well we have this little tube made out of plastic, and if you give it to schoolchildren it can be used as a sonic weapon" "well... thanks for *trying* guys"
+HASEnoncorperated You say children's instrument, I say iconic instrument with an extensive history. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recorder_(musical_instrument)
Oh i don't doubt that it's a pretty cool instrument in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing, I'm just saying when given to small children it usually ends in many harsh off-key notes attacking your ears in concert.
One game that you should do the music of is Xenoblade Chronicles. That game has so many great music places it's hard to come up with one, the Boss music, colony 9, the main theme, Satorl Marsh at night, if it's possible, you should play music from that game. (That's not all that i personally like, just a few off the top of my head) Thank you for reading.
I heard another name or at least a variation of the Kalimba is Zanza, so... do a cover of the Xenoblade Chronicles final boss theme on a Kalimba, that would be so good.
***** Oh I thought it was a certain genre of world music, because to me, it had that African feel from the timbre of the percussion instruments. On a side note, some of my favorites types of world music is Gamelan from Indonesia and and Son from Cuba.
Tommy Sasaki Come back when you understand the difference between well-tempered and non well-tempered instruments. Here's something to start you up: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musical_temperament
***** Thanks! I had no idea such a thing existed. I have now watched several videos on the subject on this type of tuning that was more common a few hundred years ago. Since my ear is trained to listen to perfect intonation on digital instruments, listening to instruments tuned like this doesn't sound pure to me. Really weird.
Tommy Sasaki Glad you learned about it! It's really a different world when you deal with some live instruments and just digital. It's those tiny imperfections in live instruments that give it the human quality, such as the fret noises when playing guitars, or the breaths when playing a flute, or the bow scratches of a violin and in some cases, the slightly imperfect temperament.
I've played Yoshi's Island for almost two decades, I've heard many renditions... I feel like this is the way the title screen was always meant to sound! Fantastic job.
I was about to complain about the lack of the electric bass(as it didn't entered when the original does) but you delivered right before i could
What a great piece of childhood. ;u;
Oh, the sentiment, the nostalgia, the feels.... I'm sorry, it's dusty in here, I need to wipe my eyes.
So good!
You are all so talented. I love this
Man, this cover had me smiling the whole way through :) Really brought me back to my childhood playing my SNES on the floor of my parents' living room... So many good memories :)
You deserve A LOT more views! They is absolutely amazing! I went and checked out your other videos and I am absolutely speechless! (In the good way!) Great job on this!
You should do the Map theme from this game, slowly adding instruments.
I could see this in an actual Yoshi's Island game! Like...wow, omg.
Wow, this is so chill and awesome!
Also, Kamek and Baby Mario in the background. :)
It'd be much better if you changed your thumbnail. I thought i was gonna click on the original recording, when I was actually was looking for a live version. I'm pleasantly surprised!
Everything came together so well! The layered entrance, the choice of instruments, the talent, the arrangement, the overall feel!
Great job!
Cool stuff! Great instrumentation and video editing. Plus Yoshi's Island is probably my all-time favorite game. :)
Thanks bro! :)
It’s the best game.
You are truly a great mucisian!

You never disappoint, man. Great as always! As a suggestion how about a piece from Fire Emblem? Theres a ton of great music, but one of the most popular is "Dont Speak her name" from Awakening. Maybe you can do something with that?
Thanks! I will check it out.
A Japanese skakuhachi would be a great alternative to the European recorder. They’re both fun to play. I love the sound of both flutes. 🪈🎋🎍
Jogo excelente com excelente trilha sonora . 👏👏👏👏
Nintendo hire this guy to compose the music for the REAL Yoshi's island sequel
That was great, as usual ^^ I would like to suggest you to take a look into the Ace Attorney series ^^ They have some really cool music, like the "Cornered" theme, from "Phoenix Wright : Ace Attorney" or the "Lying Coldly" theme from "Ace Attorney Investigation"
This was awesome!
Your stuff is fantastic I love it and I'm glad I found this channel :D!

This is amazing.
hegalong :DD
I'm from Philippines and you play it so well!
Love this
this is great
I heard another name or at least a variation of the Kalimba is Zanza, so... do a cover of the Xenoblade Chronicles final boss theme on a Kalimba, that would be so good.
May I make a request? Remember a while back when you made that Super Mario Galaxy video? That needs to be a Mini-Mario Orchestra.
Great idea. *added at the looooong list*
I appreciate this
So good!
Awesome!
awesome
That was cool
Once again, amazing job! From what part of the world is this type of music style, Philippines?
This is a music genre called World Music, which is basically a mash-up of multiple cultures.
***** Oh I thought it was a certain genre of world music, because to me, it had that African feel from the timbre of the percussion instruments.
On a side note, some of my favorites types of world music is Gamelan from Indonesia and and Son from Cuba.
i cant believe this was a year ago... i hate time
infectious!
[suggestion] Medley evolution of final fantasy from 1 to 15
Really good. Maybe some Kingdom Hearts next?
ohh wow nice
i don't know the game but it's very jolly.

Sure, I'll look into it. :) Thanks!
***** Awesome! No problem good sir.
Could you do protomans theme
Please make one of Sonic Sega Genesis games!
The recorder sounds a bit out tune, then again I know nothing about recorders
The recorder is a bit off tune at the beginning
Cool i live in the Philippines
Can you please do the super smash bros melee menu theme
how to call this genre of music?
Yoshi’s island has the number one most dynamic music. Mario odyssey is second
Do Kingdom Hearts!!!!!!!! Please!!!
Sure. :)
+String Player Gamer bravo from france i really enjoy your music since almost 1 year, keep it like that youre just amazing!!!
This has got to be the only time a recorder has sounded like a decent instrument, and not like a tortured cat being chewed on by children.
use super mario sunshine themes okay
***** sounds like the original
Lam
Somlam
This, SUCKS! * Turns up volume * Ahh, much better!
Nice arrangement, however the flute is out of tune.
