The wisdom my dad shaped worked well for me in my 45-year journey on the road. I once said I love this truck, Dad! My dad's response "Never love anything that can't love you back," still echoes long after my driving days are over. Another one was: "Never back up." an inch more than needed, as there is an accident waiting in reverse gear. 😊🌲🧑🎄☃❄

At the end you were at the hasty exit there used to be a really good dinner and truck shop in there but during covid they both closed and never came back

KwikTrip is based in LaCrosse WI. My wife has been with them for 17 years. Very employee based. They give back to the employees every year a portion of the profit. Smaller chain but are expanding but keeping it smaller than the larger ones keeps the quality of the franchise higher. If ya can avoid the larger truck stops and support the smaller companies it is the way to go. Nice new truck stop in Kenosha if ya get down this way. Have a good one.

Kwik Trip is headquartered in WI. Out of La Crosse I believe. They are EVERYWHERE in WI.

I drive truck for Kwik trip, They are based out of la Crosse WI. They have stores in Wisconsin, Minnesota,Michigan, South Dakota. In Iowa it is called Kwik Star.
Yes KwikTrip is based out of Wisconsin and they're mainly in the midwest when you go to Iowa then it's called Kwkstar because there was already a Kwiktrip by another corporate entity

Quick Trip is booming in Texas. In urban areas, they are small fuel stops and convenience shops.

Oh, look at that! Josh parked at my favorite truck stop in the whole state of WI and then drove (although no in the video ) past my house in Wisconsin Dells. It's been a while that you drove past my house 🙂.
And BTW although the new parking spots at that KT are on the blind side they are so wide that you can park there no problem even at 2 am in the morning. ( I have no idea why I know that 🤣🤣🤣)
Kwik Trip is a part of Kwik Star. They are expanding slowly wit. Sioux Falls just opened I believe 4 stores. Burning not 1 is an”truck stop” has like 6 spots, no Scale of any kind yet it’s an t half a mile North of one of the largest meat processing facilities in the country.
I tell people that I meant who do not know what a KY or KS is that I go in there and literally but my groceries. I use to make every meal in my truck from their stores. Daily store deliveries, everything is fresh and they are way, way cheaper than almost every grocery store.

@@MichaelW969 Nope. He is talking about Kwik Trip based in La Crosse, WI. A chain of service stations with locations in WI, MN and UP MI operating as Kwik Trip and locations in IA and SD operating under the Kwik Star name.
It's the other way around the name of the company is Kwik Trip and Kwik Star is just the name they use for their locations in IA and SD in order to avid being mistaken with Quik Trip.
Hi Josh, interesting to see trucking life over the pond, I live in UK…. The new headlights look great, but could you install 4x dipped, so giving 4x main… years ago they used to do that over here but don’t see it on the new trucks… Problem with all new LED lights is that they don’t give off heat so snow/ice builds up…. But can’t have everything….. Keep on Trucking….

Just a FYI - don't use your points in Canada, they are basically US dollars and they take them off in Canada like US dollars - ie - buy something for 10 in Canada they take off points like it was a US purchase

Quick trip based out of Tulsa Oklahoma. They have gas stations in a lot of states, truck stops in a few states . They are all over Texas ( regular ( bigger than normal ) gas stations ). Merry Christmas to you and yours

Your in my territory. My son in law drives for Howe in Illinois but lives in Eau Claire wi. He has to tie down loads to but has a cover over his loads. Can’t remember what it’s called
