The referee insisted but Marco refused to continue playing.

The referees mistook the wobbling advance of the ball as hitting the cushion. Zanetti saw what happened and did not want to take unfair advantage. Good on Zanetti. He really showed the world what he is made of... OTOH, how come, after even watching the video, the refs insisted on giving Zanetti the point is beyond my understanding.

I thought it made 3 cushion. I bought the Longoni Zanetti cue in 2008(Blue night) and in 2017 the next version(Evoluzione). Great cues!
