I don't know why people are worried about the 2018 Lucky Loonie, none of the 2018 coins are in circulation yet. It'll come eventually. By the way, that little logo on the bottom of the obverse is the Royal Canadian Mint Mark, on every Canadian coin since 2006, except some commemoratives.

In ook shook is pronounced as 3 distinctly different sounds the double oo is kinda like a long u sound. This is the name for the stacked stone statues that the Eskimo people made in the far north. It is one word, but pronounced sort of quickly all as one word. Inukshuck

Happy Junior Yeah I've tried looking up some info on it. I'm assuming its pretty rare because considering the fact there has been over a billion normal loonies made, and only 11 million of these, I'm guessing it's pretty uncommon. Definitely not my rarest coin, that would probably be my 1989 Mackenzie River silver dollar. It's mintage is only 240,000.

Don’t think that is rare, you there was 5M - 11M being minted. so probably half the population of canada gets these.
