I have had 2 car accidents, 20 years apart, where someone drove through a red light at an intersection and ran into the passenger side of my car, so no fault on my side. Such a shock each time and an emotional time for my family, but i'm all right thankfully.

They were actually being sold at the Christmas store in niagara on the lake ! So they are reproduction ! I'm sure these are safer, electrical wise, to use than true vintage ones haha. Crossing my fingers you find some for next year !

While I understand this point of view…some of those animals have been dead for close to 100 years. I have vintage (and only vintage furs) because I once heard someone say if we throw them away it’s like those animals lives didn’t matter and their suffering was in vain. We are for a second time discounting their lives. The furs I do have i hold precious, I take care of them the most as a way of honoring their sacrifice. I look after them and store them the most carefully out of all my vintage pieces.
I totally respect your opinion, not everyone likes fur. However I ONLY wear vintage fur, which is an ethical way of acquiring it. And I wouldn't call it cruel. Realistically these pieces already exist, I would rather the animal not die in vain and give them a second life. I love the pieces I own and care for them greatly. These pieces won't last forever, even if we take care of them so there are ways of giving them a third life when they are unwearable. Like contacting local humane society (or animal shelter) and see if they take fur donations (with no lining or threads) fur can be reused to keep animals warm in the winter. Especially the younger ones. If thats not an option, taking pieces of fur into a local ravine or forest (with no lining or threads) and putting them back to the earth. Wild animals will use them to build nests or for warmth in the winter.
