As another commenter said, don't press the hell outta your brake during calibration, and it will set your brake threshold correctly. You can also edit the threshold after by editing the individual pedal binding and drag the sliders.

GRID Legends is a great game but not one I could compare with GT7 to be fair. Both are on completely different playing fields with GRID Legends being very arcadey and GT7 being SIM(ish). I still rate games on PS5 over the Series X purely on the exclusive titles and the UI/Dashboard of the system with how much info is provided for each game. And when it comes to games released on both I mostly go where my crew are 😉. Not really helped you much I know, but honestly, both are great games. You the player; you need to make the choice 😜

I wasn’t comparing the 2 games as to me they are vastly diff. I bought a new Series X and Tv for FH5 But sadly have ben disappointed by all the bugs. It’s a beautiful game but frustrating at times. I tried Grid and it’s pretty fun. My question with GT7 was do I want to take the time to try n find a PS5 or just buy GRID for my Xbox. Every time I c GT7, The visuals just blow me away. I will be doing GT7 videos eventually but with new releases I tend to delay my content till all the major channels have slowed their uploads down as I could never compete at the moment. Everyone I have spoken to that has GT7 is completely blown away by it saying it is a stunning racer. As for FH5, it's boring. There's too much pressure on the player to create the content over the developers what with Crap 7 and Poop Creator. Don't get me started on The Eliminator 🤬. Horizon just isn't what it used to be (except 5 being a remapped 4 with drip -fed recycling) I can't make the choice for you but I can say whole-heartedly that you will not be disappointed with a PS5 and GT7. For anyone struggling with the brake pedal, you can easily take out the rubber piece to make the brake pedal much easier (but still a good amount of force) to depress. Trust me, it's worth it. It takes about 15 minutes and you just have to take a few screws out. UA-cam it, it's not hard and well worth it.
When calibrating, as Steve says, normally you depress each pedal fully. However, with the brake, press it as firmly as you want maximum braking, then on the test bit after you'll notice that you only have to push down part way for 100% brake. Also, most games (F1, can't remember if it's on this too) let you do a similar thing with a setting such as brake saturation. Which again just lowers the 100% braking to less pressure on the pedal.
All depends on which feedback you want maxed out. If you have the centring maxed out it can impact the feel of the suspension and damping. These settings have been thoroughly tested to give the best overall feel the game has to offer with the G920

I got a question for mine it’s like shaking or vibrating hard and it won’t stop. Idk what do to cause on other games like wrc and stuff its fine but on this game it shakes and never stops

Completely quit the game so it doesn't hang in Quick Resume. Make sure no other controllers are connected other than your wheel. Update the game. Power cycle your console
8 months later, the H gearbox, and even the manual clutch it's working on grid legends, but the force feedback doesnt work for my g920 on Xbox series S. 😔
Have you tried the following: Keeping your wheel plugged into the Series S. Update GRID Legends. Turn your console off by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds. Turn back on using the Xbox button on the wheel. (Have no other controller connected) Launch the game using the wheel. Navigate to the wheel settings and input the settings from this video. Worked great on the Series S for me before I got my Series X. Good luck and thanks for watching
I’m on PS5 with a t300 and a TH8a H-pattern shifter. In the options under difficulty settings, change the transmission to “manual individual with clutch”. I just started the game today and this works on the very first car in the very first race even though in reality, it is a flappy paddle, sequential transmission. Edit: this option is in “Gameplay” not “Controls”. Makes very little sense.

G29 is compatible with PC and PlayStation and you would need the G920 with Xbox. Are you using a converter with it as this could be what's affecting the feedback 🤔
Hi Steve, I assume feedback worked for you? I have the G920 and so far no feedback at all, even switching it off and on in the settings mid race. I'm on the trial but shouldn't make a difference. Going to try again today making sure the wheel is connected prior to starting the game as that cause an issue detecting the wheel on my first go.
If you have the gearshift plugged in, unplug it for the face buttons to work. Codemasters are currently working on a fix but for now this is the only way to get the face buttons working. (All mentioned in this video)
Izjust got this game, and while its a nice product, it seems pretty unnecessary to use a wheel, being so pad focused arcadey game. Its really easy even with a pad. I get thqt it can be more immersive ofc, i love using a wheel but tjis game is a little unchallenging handling wise even with no aids.
It is very arcadey but I prefer it with the wheel, a lot. It's nice to be able to use the wheel with such a game and it not be as intense as some other racers
@STEVEtheP1R4TE tks, just did get the game yesterday, tried it more, its pretty good really. I like the cockpit, dash views, better sound and feel. Good pad controls. Ai is fun.

That's usually down to the Force Feedback or Centring being too low or too high. Try the settings in this video

Its only sequential due to the range of gears. I've not heard of Codemasters working on anything for the shifter

This usually happens when the vibration and Force Feedback settings are set too low.

This happened to me when I plugged the wheel in AFTER starting the game. Quit the game and plug in then start the game... Mine appeared after that.

Feedback working so probably just because the game was started before connecting the wheel 🤷
