I like how it changes from present tense (I guess Asgore isn't the baking type) to past tense (I guess Asgore wasn't the baking type) after you kill him.
Ironically, he takes all 3 endings a lot more maturely than toriel He actually wanted your safety, unlike her just wanting to prove she could save someone
Honestly Asgore here was written much better on his genocide route than Toriel on the genocide route. It’s mostly because Asgore isn’t naive and blind, he sees what you have been doing and although he hesitated truly believing in what you’re doing, he eventually knew what had to be done. Better than Toriel acting like nothing is wrong and then when she gets killed, she goes out of character and just hates you.
What happens if you spare asgore (like to the point where you can actually spare him) and then attack? In other words, what happens when you betrayel kill Asgore? I can't find any info on this. Edit:As someone pointed out this was at the end of the video, I just missed it.
I did this yesterday, don’t remember it exactly, but he said something like: I’m sorry, human, of course you wouldn’t trust me after putting you in the battlefield like that… I’m So… So… Sorry… Then he turns to dust. Also I remember very well him saying those last three words. I felt so bad for doing that to him purposefully. Wait I just noticed it’s literally at the end of the video 😐
@@mamitansimba9970 it’s like a core Undertale mechanic. Sleeping increases your HP over the max. There’s a bed in Asgore house that you can sleep in if you’re not in the genocide route and haven’t killed him yet. Of course, you can only sleep in it once.
